If you're going to do nothing but brag about Lub's, and I quote, "best service ever", I think you should just leave.Good job he's telling the truth then, huh?
I'm open to a better system, but all i can see that will make it superior to kalphs is possibly management, and there's not one shred of evidence that it exists.Multiple people have seen it. Ephi and Darren have definitely both seen it.
Oopsies post not copy-paste-edit
The funny bit is, Lub could now produce the most impressive hosting service the world has ever seen, EVER and you guys would still call it bullstuff. I think you've all dug yourselves into such a hole there's no way you'll ever say "You know what Lub, you really pulled this one out of the bag - nice job man."Can't wait for the fan fiction section in the launch thread, will enjoy compiling that one.
Looking forward to your reactions!
here ye, here ye, whiteknightsyou're such a loving creep lmao, clearly get zero female attention irl
thou shalt get back onto the topic
We need to get the server before we can do much work, so until Glass and his parents have that whole situation sorted out, theres not much TO work onHaving the server just for development reasons is a pointless waste of money, just spin up a free EC2 micro instance and do all your work there.
We will hopefully have the server sometime this week or next week.
I'm pissed at Apple. The newest update to the iPhone 4S takes YouTube support away. I can't watch YouTube videos anymore! What the forget?Download the YouTube app.......................... .......................
it will never happenYou're so loving handicapped, taking Apple hate to such a pathetic new level.
if it does then we are living in a dystopia and EVERYONE should kill themselves
the day apple has 1 million staff is the day i kill myself. Why exactly?
You also have to seriously think about how you're going to compete. I really don't see this happening because you're charging exactly the same as me and have a lower-grade service. Please take the time to think about what you're doing first.Whilst I agree this will crash and burn, how is his service lower grade? Same stuffty DC, same stuffty hardware, same stuffty lack of comprehensive management features. Looks like the same level to me.
It seems I can organize 26.7TB (two servers, 6TB and 21TB) of space with 25TB of monthly outgoing bandwidth. To meet bandwidth constraints, a max average of 100mbps (for downloads, uploads up to 2gbps). That depends on what people actually use, so gigabit speeds for downloads can be expected if it's not a very big file. Of course, this depends on the downloader's actual down speed. You got 32TB backup space to keep your customers' files safe too?
I got most of what I wanted, able to use PayPal to pay my server bill making it pretty easy to start when I want to. Prices will be exactly as listed above.
The project's a go, but it's a while before I work on it because I must finish the Blockland part of this first.
