bsods dont occur naturally.
its caused from swapping parts incorrectly
a decade of dust built up on the inside.
errors from updating OS over the years but never updating drivers.
errors from allowing viruses to be on the computer running harddrives into the ground.

a mid level computer user dosnt have these issues. it really takes a complete handicap to break a computer.
Could it be caused by a cheap component not having a very long life?

Not sure what that post means Kalph, but ok.

Never did anything to it, as I say I lost interest in computers. Must just be stuffty hardware.

If you get a BSOD that just means you take really stuffty care of your computers, it doesn't mean windows sucks
How so exactly?

ive never blue screened before. other then trying to overclock the computer past +70%, overheated like a boss.
simple solution, i didnt do it again. havent seen a bsod since.

funny how mac users seem to think all windows users see it all the time.
its caused by hardware errors when you swap parts incorrectly or something. it really never happens to people lol
Never had a problem with BSOD until this desktop. It was fine for a year then started dying on me. Upgrading my drivers fixed it for a bit, then the problem came back so I just found Mac equivalents for all the Windows programs I kept my Windows desktop for and just started using my laptop a whole lot more.

That case is so ugly haha, wow. I was into computers when I built my desktop, just not interested in them at all anymore.

You, sir are not one of them.
You're right, I'm the kinda person who buys clothes with labels, pays above the odds for a haircut and drinks coffee in Starbucks whilst working on my Macbook, gosh I must be a terrible person.

so you got both these comps at the same time?

because i have a 300 dollar desktop in the closet that cost me 2300 about 6 years ago.
Nah, had the Windows desktop ~2 years before, it was crappy about 1 year after that and still is. How I love a BSOD everyday!

because if all you do os browse the net and run photoshop and stuff, then any 300 dollar PC can do the trick, but apple will sell you a 1k+ computer that has equivalent hardware.

there are people who are trendy shoppers.
and the people who are savvy smart shoppers who get their money's worth.
I have a £500 Windows desktop and it's stuff, my Mac is flawless. I like things I buy to look nice too, that was another purchase decider.

foxconn
outdated chipsets
not smooth
No idea what any of this is but it hasn't affected the perfect running of my computer so I don't give a forget about it.

just saying but i would honestly give more than 10 forgets about hardware if i'm going to spend at least 1K on a computer
Why should I? I trust Apple to give me the hardware I need for my computer to run smoothly and quickly for the tasks I perform on it, which it does, perfectly.

I like this, to sum up your post: "Macs, for people who don't have a clue"  :cookieMonster:
Or for people like me who don't care about their hardware.

Define biggest, because they certainly are not revenue wise, or number of employees.

I also like these kind of debates
By market capitalisation - the most "popular" way to rank companies by size.

not to mention the fact that you can upgrade what you want instead of having to shell out on a whole new unit.
The fact is though, unless you're into computers (the majority of people in the world aren't), you don't know how to/don't care about upgrading your computer. With a Mac you can just run it for years as they don't jam up and slow down like Windows loves doing over a few years, then replace the whole thing after a long run.
