It would seem to me that you're beyond capacity or managing your server incorrectly if a bit of file compression causes a degradation of service quality.

Blockland can only run on one core, it can't take advantage of multiple cores.

Irrelevant. Setting a process CPU affinity to a busy core will lead to performance issues. Allowing the OS to schedule the process with a selection of all available cores is most likely to get a higher performing process.

Whoever said bad dancing is unattractive is a social handicap too lmao, no one actually tries to dance for real do they? Have you ever been to a night club? Dancing is banter and is thoroughly enjoyable, if you're worried about what people think of you you need to learn to give less stuffs asap.

Dunno, don't really give a forget. I commute ~30 miles a day and it does 65mpg easy, speed isn't a concern.

VW Up White special edition, bought new a few months ago for £13000/$21000, 75BHP, 65MPG, free tax, free servicing, all very cheap to run as it's my first car.
