This is a thread that anyone can reply to; if you can't accept people answering other people's questions in this thread then I have no loving clue why you made a thread here. Besides, what are you going to do about it?

Clients get direct and fast responses through our ticketing system, that's definitely the best place to be asking things. All Ephi is saying is that it's best if we reply to ensure the answers given are 100% correct - you can't ensure that with your answers, there's really no need to be aggressive.

The server is in the New York metro area so it's as good as in New York. Regardless, the DC peers directly with some of the biggest carrier hotels in the world right in Manhattan, giving us the connectivity of NY at NJ prices for electricity and space, perfect solution.

Ping from the UK is so much better than I ever imagined, I often see sub-100ms and quite frankly I don't think it needs to be lower than that. RTB hosting was built from the start with multiple nodes in mind, just need to pick a location, buy a server and it'll be hosting people within a couple of hours. NY02 is looking most likely at the moment.

Introduction

Ever since the release of Blockland, RTB has strived to provide the community with the services, tools and features they need to to make the most out of their game. In the past RTB has solved problems like how to keep in touch with your friends or how to easily manage your add-ons, or even how to effectively manage your server - and now we're proud to be able to solve the issue of being able to host a quality Blockland server regardless of your physical location or technical knowledge. This is Blockland's first professional dedicated hosting service, written and designed specifically for Blockland dedicated hosting. Not only do you get access to top-of-the-line hardware hosted in datacenters connected to premium networks worldwide, but you also get access to RTB's powerful purpose-built web management software to effortlessly control all aspects of your server with no prior hosting experience or technical knowledge.

Features

All aspects of your RTB-hosted dedicated server are controlled via the RTB website which can be used in all modern browsers on both computers and tablets. There's also an interface coming soon to be used on mobile phones. Automated Payment & Deployment If you decide you'd like to buy a server you can pay immediately via PayPal and have your new server in your account ready to be deployed within seconds. Deployment takes less than a minute once you've entered your key and from there you'll be able to start your server immediately. Server Dashboard Each server has it's own dashboard which shows realtime stats about the players, bricks and admins on your server as well as a graph showing data over the last hour. As the service is developed you'll see more functionality introduced to the dashboard. Remote Control The most important part of hosting a server is being able to start, stop and reboot your server whenever you want. The interface allows you to see the realtime status of your server and start/stop it or even do a force-shutdown if your server becomes unresponsive. You'll also be able to see the current revision of Blockland your server is running and update that when a new version is released. Console Access Console access is another vital aspect of running your own server. From the moment you start up your server you'll be able to access the console via the interface using an overlay which gives you realtime access to view your server output and send commands to it. Server Logs Each time your server gets shutdown the console.log will be compressed and stored for you to download via the interface should you ever need to. In addition to this, daily compressed chat logs are also available for download. FTP Access You'll be able to access your server's files using FTP should you need to upload or download anything from your server. You can use the interface to set and change your ftp password and view your connection details. Access Control If you have other people help run your server you can give them as much access as you want to your server via the access control page. Depending on whether you want them to have full administrative capabilities or just be able to load bricks you can adjust this here. Server Settings Using the server settings page you can change all the settings you'd usually be able to via the RTB Server Control panel in-game. These settings will be applied immediately or saved for the next time you start your server if it's offline. You can also select a default gamemode for your server to use from the list of installed gamemodes on your server. Add-On Management Using the add-ons interface you can view a categorized list of all the add-ons on your server and enable or disable those you need or don't. Changes to your add-ons will take effect once you start or restart your server. You can use the interface to upload add-ons directly from your computer to your server either by dragging the files you want into the window or using the file selection button on the page. Also included is the ability to delete add-ons on your server. RTB Add-On Updating The add-on management page mentioned above will also show you the current RTB version of any RTB add-ons you've got on your server and will allow you to update your RTB add-ons with ease at the click of a button. Auto-Saving Your server can be configured to automatically save the bricks periodically. The saving system has been written to be both fast and transparent to the users on your server meaning a save can be taken during a deathmatch without slowing the game down. Saves will be automatically compressed and kept should you want to reload one at any point. Brick Management To avoid having to upload bricks in-game you can use the load bricks page to either load bricks from your computer to the server or load a recent auto-save into the server with a single click. Saves you upload from your computer will automatically be stored on the server for you to download or load into your server whenever you need to without having to re-upload each time. Auto-Admin Management Using the auto-admin page you can add, change or remove the auto-admin entries you've got on your server to allow you to manage your server administrators wherever you are. Server Chat Using the server chat page you can view the real time chat in your server, talk as yourself to your players without being present and also see a list of players in your server. Coming soon will be the ability to kick and ban players via the web interface too. Colorset Management You're able to upload and manage your colorsets for your server via the colorset management page. Uploading a colorset will immediately generate a preview for you to use as well as transfer it to your server ready for you to apply it whenever you want to use it. Music Management Using the music management page you can see all the music installed on your server and enable or disable those you need or don't. Changes to your music files will take effect once you start or restart your server. You can use the interface to upload music directly from your computer to your server either by dragging the files you want into the window or using the file selection button on the page. Also included is the ability to delete music on your server. Auth Key Changing Feeling generous? You can now allow someone else to change your server key to make it their own via an easy to use form. As with the key entry form on the deployment page, this does not log or store entered keys in any way. Real-Time Activity Stream This feature allows you to see real-time and historical events that affect your server. Events in your stream can be filtered by three different categories; server events, admin actions and player notices. The stream doubles as both a reference for what's going on in your server but also an audit log to be able to see exactly who did what and when. All admin events contain information about the players involved such as IP and BL ID should you need to investigate any incidents on your server.

This report will give you a good indication of the current and historic quality of service and is offered as part of our dedication to being transparent with support and service quality. Yeah I'm aware of that issue but the mobile site is completely separate. I'm going to go through the desktop site and fix display issues on phones, but it's not really intended for phones.
