yeah, but you have to realize, that's what a true 1999 mode is. indiscernibly hard enemies for no good reason for you to even try. it took me thirty something attempts on lady comstock

1999 mode, as of halfway into the game or so, all it is is just a higher difficulty.
Enemies heal fully on death, and you take more damage.
The twist is, you lose the same amount each death, and it doesn't scale the lower or higher you have. If you can't pay for respawn, you have to start the entire game over.

no, you just start from the last major check point that saved before you started that game session.

i never said they hadn't or had grown in the number of jobs. i was just making a somewhat sarcastic statement.

that was directed more towards the competitive nature of it, rather than whether or not it was making progress at all.

the thing is nobody needs people like these anymore

the most important job at the present and future is probably programmer to be honest

you guys do realize you're both wrong? both these jobs have experienced exponential growth in recent years, along with the greater trend in engineering as a whole.
