Wow so much lag
ikr needs more higher fps, also less gui overlays and lame video editing, I.E. hammering bot spawn points and such

edit: you know you can hide the bot spawns right?

Hey, why not add the drama about my "blatant build stealing" from 2013 to the list? this still haunts me to this day

Help / Re: Green Screen Colorset
« on: January 08, 2016, 08:43:22 PM »
What about Trueno's? It has the perfect green and blue colors. Red's, White's, and Black's really wouldn't be used (in a professional viewpoint due to clothing) unless you get usable results with those colors. I'd stick with Blue and Green

up vs down tdm when?
We should get sideways trees to have an entire city inside of a cube.
good ideas, what we need is a playertype that works kinda like Super Mario Galaxy physics, or how the Hovercraft works from SuperKart. I can see a new type of DMs and TDMs.

Have any of you guys/girls/whatever tried to sync music to fireworks or light emitters? If so, how hard is it to perfectly time everything, I'd say it's hard, doing the whole "minutes to milliseconds" conversation. Well I could use a conversation calculator and audacity, but what about using MIDI note on and off commands. Go ahead and say "Torque doesn't support MIDI." I'm aware, I've tried before, but say we took the MIDI commands from this {MIDI: tune.mid opened in Notepad}

(sorry for longest post ever, trying to get the point across) anyways, the Note On/Off would cause events to be triggered on a block with "MIDI" properties, such as Note and Channel. The file itself would only be sending the commands not a physical midi player, but would send them server-wide.

I can see this being extremely useful for firework/light shows. One more thing, the second code would be the read file by Blockland, MIDISwing can display the MIDI Events which can be copied into a text document and saved since that is more understandable. So basically, it's a giant VCE midi player.
Code: [Select]
ifValue vce:global:midinote = 60 ch1
ifVariableTrue Self spawnProjectie Firework Red (S)
Think about it.

steam isn't the reason you don't have a base folder if you knew how to do it then why the forget did you even bother complaining
because Steam users should know where to find the Blockland folder (for the newbies, if they bought the game off steam)

I don't even have an* idea on how to install for steam.
At all.
quite simple, same as for non-steam, but still, maybe add the install location for Blockland Steam version, like this:

C:\Program Files\Steam\SteamApps\common\Blockland\base\data\shapes
or
C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\SteamApps\common\Blockland\base\data\shapes

Easy

Instructions: Go to Blockland in Documents, then go to Base, then Data, then Shapes.
Open shapes.
Put the stud in place of the real brickTOP, then make it Read Only.
Dude, like seriously add instructions for Steam users, I WAS going to say "I want to install this, but when I went to my documents folder, went into the Blockland folder, I couldn't find a folder named Base." I'm one of those players who uses the Steam version, and I bet there are quite a few other players who also use Steam.

0/10 for non-steam and poor texture design, it's always been the same ramp look, and I for one enjoy that look.

Suggestions & Requests / Re: Can someone make a Shadows mod like v20?

Blockteen, I'm just gonna come out and tell you that you have no idea what you're talking about.
Look I tried my best
Blockland is OpenGL.. But also in bold is wrong because you can make your own shaders and shadows in a way.
True, but to me, GLSL scripting is like impossible, looking at the code for renderCsm_frag.glsl, there's all these words and numbers that I just don't have the time to remember. Call me lazy if you want.
