I've had something similar to this in v0002.

Except all the 'viruses' were bots, players and bots made up the normal players.
When a virus killed a normal player/bot, it exploded into 3 more virus bots.

This sounds fun to play.

How to have semi-immersiveness:

1. Get Immersive First Person addon from workshop

2. Get a good weapon pack

3. Find some battle map or something

4. pp_stereoscopy 1 (in console)

5. pp_stereoscopy_size 1 (in console, again)

6. Cross your eyes and turn on the add on. Have fun!
