That does the amount of online players have to do with anything?
He's saying "this is what has been happening as a result of the things in the OP."

I don't think that's strictly true.
Sometimes it can be worse to build outside-in, since you misjudge the room inside for your interiors.
I think it depends on the builder and their personal view at the time.
For the most part, it's better if you start from the outside and work your way inward.

First off, you should probably do the exterior first. For the most part, it's better if you start from the outside and work your way inward. Building the exterior with the interior in mind is the best way to go.

Drama / Re: A Deep Apology to Everyone
« on: May 18, 2014, 11:25:37 PM »
I don't get why these apology topics are always stuff on now. When Maroon and I apologized for the stuff we did with lando and said we don't talk to them anymore, like more than 3/4 of the people who responded forgave us. Why is it now that you guys act like starfishs about this stuff?
The idea that someone can apologize and then ride off into the sunset doesn't run by the forums very well. The fact that someone has to apologize for something in the first place is why they are stuff on. Most think apology topics are dumb, including me. I mean, it's nice to apologize to everyone, but it doesn't really work.

The best thing to do is just start fresh and I don't mean get a new account and a new name;  people will figure out who you are eventually. Instead, just fix what you've been doing wrong. Eventually, people will start liking you again and you will begin building a good reputation. Completely ignore anyone who uses your past against you. Don't even respond;  act like it's not even there. Sometimes leaving the forums for a while helps.

If you stop being an idiot and start being a cool guy things should start going in your direction.

What the forget? Go read up on the german invasion of France. It sure as stuff wasn't an easy fight for them. The baguettes put up a hell of a fight before being forced to surrender.
Yep, that was the only time they used their blitzkrieg tactic. You got me.

Anyways, we should get back to the game itself and stop discussing who knows what about WW2.

It doesn't really matter what you classify them rolling over China and the islands south of Japan as, it was still a part of the war.  And you say defending like they were trying to protect the pacific from the "brutal American imperialist pig war machine" that we all know and love as the USA.  The Japanese conquest of the Pacific was indeed a part of the war and should not be looked at as otherwise.  Don't be so naive.
Of course it was part of the war. I never said it wasn't. I'm just saying that it's not really a fight if one side doesn't have a fighting chance. Japan just steamrolled its enemies like Germany did with their blitzkrieg tactic.

And how do you get all that meaning out of the single word of "defending?" That's not at all what I meant, lol. At the time that the U.S. began its counterattack, Japan was defending what it had taken. Defending doesn't automatically mean that the side defending is part of the "good side."

Help / Can't Host After Moving Computer
« on: May 13, 2014, 11:13:10 PM »
I was able to host servers fine a few weeks ago. Since we have been working on my basement, I had to move my computer and ever since then I have been unable to host.

I am pretty sure that I have port forwarded and the firewall is letting Blockland through, but I still can't host. Whenever people try to join they get the "sending punch packet..." message, but they never join. I also get a "No matches" message in my console every time someone tries to join.

Here's my console.log:

(hopefully the download works and it's the right file)

not like japan were the imperials or anything. They were just defending the pacific!
Most of the war for the Japanese was fought defending (I don't really consider them completely rolling over China and the islands south of Japan as part of their war because there was little resistance). After the Battle of Midway (1942) the Japanese were defending the islands they previously captured. This is why I say "defending the pacific."

us wasn't the only country involved in d-day though

it'd be refreshing to see the canadian or british side for once
Yeah, and French.

It would also be cool if there were several campaign modes.

You could play as:
  • U.S. soldier in the Pacific, fighting the Japanese
  • French soldier in the resistance taking back Paris and then all of France
  • Soviet soldier in the Red Army in the Battle of Stalingrad followed by the counteroffensive that eventually pushed the Wehrmacht back into Germany
  • British RAF pilot in air battles

And then you could play as the axis where they end up winning the war

You could play as:
  • German soldier attacking Soviet Union
  • Japanese soldier defending the Pacific
  • Italian soldier in Northern Africa

Imagine some of the maps/matches that could happen.

>Red Army attacks Berlin, Werhmacht must hold back the Soviets for a certain amount of time, Red Army must push through defenses and force the Germans to retreat deeper into Berlin, if the Soviets push the Germans back to the last stage of the match, they assault the Reichstag, if the Red Army wins, they plant their flag atop the Reichstag, if the Werhmacht wins, the Red Army flees Berlin as the Germans cut them down (imagine the giant Reichstag getting larger and larger as you advance deeper into German-occupied Berlin)

>Werhmacht attacks Stalingrad, same concept as above, but a lot colder and with snow

>U.S. invades Normandy France, U.S. soldiers released from transport boats as the Germans defend the beach with heavy machine guns and mortar fire

>U.S. invades Iwo Jima

>Battle of Midway, U.S. Navy v. Japanese Navy

>French Resistance, with the assistance of invading U.S. Army, attempt to liberate Paris from national socialist Germany (just imagine the Eiffel Tower in the background as you fight)
