i use passive mode when i'm auto dropped into a public lobby after a mission.
other then that i just go into an invite only session.

Update: RAM, CPU cooler and PSU came in. The Copy of Windows 8.1 was originally intended for my current rig, but I chose to use it for my next rig.

does anyone know if the corsair liquid coolers by chance come with thermal paste pre-applied?

They come pre-applied with thermal paste, but there's so little on there that it's practically useless. The best move is to apply your own thermal paste.

I installed my new gpu and my screen doesn't open at all (goes in power save mode when connecting)

I DON'T WANT TO GET STUCK ON MOBILE FOR ANOTHER MONTH GOD loving DAMN IT

Check the wattage on your PSU and GPU. The PSU might not be putting out enough watts.
