Ok, traded my MG for a shotgun and holy sweet baby jesus tap-dancing christ on a motherloving bike it's a one-hit kill on every enemy i've encountered so far. Take back what I said about gunplay. All of it. Holy stuff.

Also, coming off of Earth, do I go to Mars or Venus next? I'm stuck on Earth with a mission I can't find on Earth to get to Mars, and then I'm stuck with one more Eximus dude I gotta find and I can't find that forgeter no matter how hard I try.

it's pretty lame from what I know

find relics, complete starchart junctions, do quests.

thoughts so far: I loving love the movement in this game. It feels smooth and the controls are simple, but you're still going fast enough to actually enjoy navigation. However, the gunplay leaves something to be desired, with guns feeling like pea shooters compared to your usually one-hit-kill melee weapon. Your character feels like a bullet sponge, taking lots and lots of bullets before actually dying. Maybe this is because of the weapons I chose at the start(sword, MG, pistol), which in that case I'll take a look at the other options and re-evaluate.

the MK1 weapons are garbage in damage, they're just there so you can gather materials for better guns.

Oh, OK. I thought you kept those throughout the game for some reason.

Hey, past and future me.

Sorry, past me, still jobless... However I really want to work at that Target nearby, and I'm pretty sure they're hiring. Also, I've decided to keep the Yukon because let's face it: that thing handles mud and dirt roads like a champ, and it also has a lot of trunk space. It's the perfect vehicle!

My music has really flopped. Anything I try and make I think I can do so much better that I tear the song apart and then stop working on it. Perfectionism is a cruel mistress...

Also, I'm still with that girl. Our relationship is still strong, and let's just say some encounters get a little... spicy. I'll let you see for yourself, other people read these and I'm not exactly comfortable with sharing the details.
