Anyone who may be interested, I looped the chorus to an ogg for Blockland, get it here.

And though it wasn't asked, I figure I'll take this opportunity to include the lyrics for those who might want to know what it is I'm singing:

If it doesn't already have a built-in sequencer, try finding a sequencer VST at kvraudio.com or something broski. o:
Then just find some drum samples and sequence them. :D

Hm, find some samples and use a sequencer or something bro
What do you use to put your tracks together?

I'm using this program called Mixcraft, which is like a Garageband for windows.


Most of the included "virtual instruments" are sampled and pitched altered, so they sound close to the original. But some (that require additional length or vibrato if you extend the note's count) are obvious synths and sound artificial.

Remember way back when I wrote that rap about being Russian? Yeah, that's how long it's been since I've written anything.

Anyway, I got struck by inspiration the other day with a melody to go with a subject (being Dinosaurs) and got right to work.

Update-a-reno!

Believe it or not folks, Block Wars is actually on the full stretch to being completed. I know. I'm shocked.

After becoming distressed from lack of nothing getting done, and fearing that the production would halt like it has in the past, I quickly went back and began final arrangements on the voice work I had recorded myself. It's safe to say that I now have a fully laid out audio track, and that the film totals to a full length of 1:11:00 (one hour eleven minutes). While the original Star Wars clocked in at 2:01:00, we did cut a lot out for humor, or for practicality, or simply for time. This means that Block Wars is going to be the longest Blockland Machinema to date.

Which brings me to my last point, after three years of wait and denial and abandonment by both creators and fans, Block Wars is looking to be released some time within our life times.

Oh. No, for reals I did it. I wish I wrote down the guys name to look him up later, but alas he probably would have been blocked anyway.

See I'm not one of those fancy teenagers with their fancy phones with fancy cameras. I have a phone, and it does have a camera, but I didn't when this happened (over the summer).

Believe me, I'm not just saying this to impress all of you, if you don't believe I did it, fine. I'm not gonna make a fuss about it lol.
