Helicopter Rides

Smell that? You smell that?

Napalm, son. Nothing else in the world smells like that.

I love the smell of napalm in the morning. You know, one time we had a hill bombed, for 12 hours. When it was all over, I walked up. We didn't find one of 'em, not one stinkin' dink body. The smell, you know that gasoline smell, the whole hill. Smelled like... victory. Someday this war's gonna end...

Christmas topics have already been made, so getting this out of the way: Merry Christmas. Happy whatever else as well. Happy Holidays.

Anyway, so if you don't remember, I am part of a Youtube channel (very unknown I might add) where we review all sorts of classic video games and on occasion some contemporary.

So I figured, since obviously I'm not going to shell out money to buy a whole forum presents, I figure as a sort of gift to you all, you get to see me make an ass of myself in front of the internet, and probably learn about at least one game you didn't know existed.

This is both a blatant plea for subscribers as well as a way of saying Merry Christmas to you all. This is my fourth Christmas spent here, so glad I could be with you all again. lol

Yep we have about 4 inches of snow currently, this is our first one in four years every other time it's just wet rainy and cold so yay

Last year sucked, didn't it?

Didn't snow on Christmas. What a bunch of bull.

Although, I'm enjoying this lake effect we got a couple of weeks ago, I live up in the North East around Akron so we got two days off last week before break.

Just say: "hey [girl-thing] this is [dr. block's real name] using [your friend's name]'s facebook. You remember me?"

She either says yes or no, and based on that you continue the conversation.

Swholli your avatar makes me turn red with laughter.

The best part is, that's me from like the 8th grade being dumb with a webcam.

Called it.

Yeah I know, it had to be said though.

Do you guys bring laptops or the whole computer?

Both if you can. I'm going to bring my PC and my laptop for added internets while also gaming.

We're gonna be doing so CS too. Maybe some Vegas 2, then AoE III (thanks to us all jumping on that 10 cents sale), Postal 2, L4D2, and TF2.

We're gonna be having some fun, let me tell you. And you should see all the mountain dew we always buy.

Why is Santa ravaging that guy's star fish?
Basically, this is Bruce Willis bursting out of the Coca Cola Santa's chest like the baby aliens from Alien. This was done for the reason that we all agreed that Die Hard was a Christmas movie. I thought the best way to get Bruce and Santa together was to have them literally together.

So as some of you may know, my friends and I get together around most major holidays and vacations for a LAN party. Even fewer of you may remember when we (for some reason) had a live webcam feed and I posted a link so you all could watch our all-night game fest.

Well, little did you know, I'd been commissioned for most of these LANs to design the logo for the events. It started the year that I hosted ChristmaLAN in my basement, for which I drew this:

Basically, this is Bruce Willis bursting out of the Coca Cola Santa's chest like the babies aliens from Alien. This was done for the reason that we all agreed that Die Hard was a Christmas movie. I thought the best way to get Bruce and Santa together was to have them literally together.

So, ChristmaLAN was a success, next we moved over to SpringLAN, which I drew:

Bruce Willis had been a reoccurring theme at this point, because our LANs needed a mascot, and he fit. He's killing bunnies whilst smoking a cigarette. What a lovely image of spring.

Now, over summer vacation we have two LANs: one at the beginning and one at the end. I didn't have time to design LAN 1, but I was able to do Summer LAN 2:

This one is Bruce denotation some sort of nuclear device (playing off of both nuclear summer and the fact that summer is hot as hell) while holding an alcoholic beverage, to look like a total badass.

Christmas is coming up again. This means a new LAN. Which means a need for a new logo.

Move over Bruce:

This one is full of jokes. Firstly, the spy is wearing a mask of our friend Matt, which is an inside joke. There's the meme of the Coach's "Cheeseburger Apocalypse." Finally the most recent of our inside jokes, during a game of L4D2 when I insisted on carrying around the tank of propane wherever I went (which soon caught on) I would shout: "I'm Hank Hill and I sell propane and propane accessories" to coincide with the meme. This degraded to "I sell propane!" to "Sellin' Propane!"

Each zombie that was hit or blown up by a tank of propane, or really just anything, was thus referred to as a "happy propane customer."

Best of all were all the bad puns we started with the melee weapons. From "I have to axe you a question" to "Those guitar chords are killer!" to even "he never thought his life would pan out this way!" Really, really bad. But so funny when you're playing.

So, long story short (tl;dr), this ChristmaLAN is going to be awesome and Hank Hill is our new mascot.

Talk about LAN parties, go!
