I was absolutely ecstatic going in to see this. I loved the first Tron.

Disappointed that MCP didn't make a cameo...

Second this. Two things you do not want, frying something or melting it. You're about to do the latter. Do what the man tells you.

Eh, the plot was a little sub-par. There were some elements that didn't make much sense. Introduced and then never really explained. It's either their ingenious work at ensuring a sequel, or perhaps more will be explained in this animated series (CG, not cartoon) I hear they'll be having.

We are going to be a tad late getting up tonight, but never fear, we should probably be one 8:30 at the latest.

Oh man, this is from like, freshman year.

WRB852, myself, and our friend Dylan all made this on a snow day. It's Warren's dad. And yes, there is genitalia under that picture. I wish I still had some pics from before I edited it, but sadly I think they're lost. Let's just say we used pine needles on the balls.

Here's the basic joke.

The deathly hallows are three magical items that are legendary in this wizarding world. The elder wand (the straight line), the philosopher's stone (the circle, also I read the British version of the book so I know it as that), and the invisibility cloak (the triangle).

Now, Luna Lovegood's dad is this crazy hippie who tells Harry about them and draws him that symbol (notice his necklace in the second panel, that's the real thing). I decided that, hey, you could totally make a richard out of that. Why not troll Harry?

Era of Empires.

Followed by it's smash hit sequel, Era of Empires II: Era of Kings.

I hadn't a clue what that symbol meant that I saw popping up all over the place until I saw that scene.

So, I thought to myself, Lovegood could have totally trolled Harry right there, what was the most richard thing he could have wrote?

So, I took that thought literally.

What, more richard jokes?

And Harry Potter?

What is your life coming to, Scott, what?

If you've read/seen the new Potter, you should at least partially get this. If you've at least seen it, notice the accents on Harry's stubble. That was so out of place in that movie, it wasn't even funny.

I think it's a play on the whole "cowboys and indians" trope.

Personally, upon seeing this trailer, cast, and plot summary, I must say: I'm genuinely excited.

It's unique and original. It's two genres you've never seen meshed before, and based on the cast alone I have a good feeling that they might have meshed them well.

We as movie goers aren't willing to give strange new films a try it seems, and I hate it. Bet you all loved Inception, right? How many of you have seen Memento? Probably not as many as I'd like. Nolan wrote and directed Memento in roughly 05ish and it got very small numbers at the box offices, but oh ho, give him some star power with street cred like Batman and boom, whatever he stuffs out is pure gold. Not saying I didn't enjoy Inception, I just feel it was way hyped up on names and not so much on story (granted the story was awesome).
