I could do some DJing. I haven't done anything since Impromptu Show went under massive hiatus.

Although, I'm a classic rock guy with a few exceptions. So if you're into that sort of thing, say so and I'll download SAM Broadcaster again.

Ok Swholli, time to make a pirate movie.  :cookieMonster:

Hurr.

That's be cool I suppose. Actually, that'd be something I'd like to do. I believe I was there when you mentioned pirate movie in the server, I'm pretty sure I was for it then too.

If we're on the subject of help with the next one:

I'd really like to be more involved than just the obscure voice actor. What I'd honestly love to do is direct; however I would understand if you didn't want that because Dark is used to all the editing and what have you (which I would also provide, assuming Dark would even let me direct. lol)

If none of that is possible, I'd love to help contribute to the next story.

So, as long as you remember, when you're strapped for a new idea for a BEE machinima, feel free to ask me, and I'll gladly try to come up with something, sign me on as a writer. But, if you're feeling gutsy and want to potentially give me the reigns on something, I'd be happy to let you take a break from the painful process of directing and editing for a film if you feel like it.

Just a quick comment to be made about some of the things I've seen popping up on Youtube and here about the vocie acting.

Not saying the performance was top notch or anything, like there was nothing to complain about. Because, believe me, there were a lot of things I probably should have redone.

Anyway, firstly I'd like to mention the lack of any other voice actors. I had so many parts in this film, coming up with suitable voices for everyone was difficult, so some characters ended up sounding like other characters. Mostly, I was trying to make them sound serious, had it been a comedian production, sillier voices (of which is more my forte) would have probably been masked better.

Secondly, I'd like to mention the way these voices are recorded. I'm given a transcript of the dialog wanted in the shots. Some short descriptions on the characters themselves as well. But then, this is all. It's up to me to use the context of the writing to put together what the emotion or tone of the voice should be at a particular moment. Most of the time this ends up a success and the scene works well with the voices, however you will occasionally get an emotion that sounds strange compared to what the characters are doing. Further with that, Darkstar doesn't give me any formal directing either. It's all from my own experiences, and I haven't even seen the production (to which Dark, I'd like to suggest for future productions I'm in, if we could perhaps do a Skype conference where you actually listen to me record the dialog, that way if something isn't the way it should be, you simply tell me and I redo it).

All in all, I can't say my voice acting is this great performance, however, you must at least give me a little credit for producing practically every character in this film.

For those of you who haven't seen this yet, let me say this:

Hot damn.

When I first saw Dark's movies, I remember I was critical. They were sloppy and unoriginal (or rather, simply uncreative). They had major potential, just not executed very well.

Then he goes and makes a movie called Away at War. It became the turning point in my appreciation towards him as a film maker. I helped with the voices in that movie too. The only problems where that it was a little sketchy at times, and not exactly coherent. Also the ending sucked.

So now, here we are almost 3 years later with a little project called Away at War 2. This movie is, without a doubt, his finest to date. The characters are rich with emotion (I should know, I had to play them) as the writing was good. The animation over ingame footage blends very well together, and the story actually leaves you caring for what has happened to these characters. It looks great, it tells great, it's what every machinima should strive for, and Darkstar has it.

All in all, I absolutely love doing voices for him, I can't wait to help with future projects.

10 out of 10 stars.

Well, yes actually. Precolonial, in any sense, can mean lots and lots of different things. Native Americans, Spanish Inquisition, Pirates, Explorers, European Adventure, etc etc.

When you said precolonial, I assumed you were referring to America (which is the more well known colonies), and in which cause would be about Native Americans.

You have to specify. Also, pirates are loving awesome man. Everyone knows that.

pre-colonial times; around the late 1700s.

You are an asstard. Seriously? Firstly, I can only assume you mean precolonial America, in which case you're still handicapped. In order for it to be precolonial, you'd have to be talking 1600's. Not to mention, precolonial is time before the colonies, (herr durr) so that means we're talking natives and stuff, right? A DSi game about Natives would be stupid and no one would play it.

Learn your history before you go and make games about it, or bitchy historical geeks like me will tear you to shreds.
