Bad tidings, something must have happened to him.

I mean this without any irony, I do hope he's ok

One of the first CIA drone strikes under President Obama was at a funeral, murdering as many as 41 Pakistani civilians.

Why target a funeral? There are civilians there, guaranteed. If it was to kill one, two, even a dozen "terrorists" does that outweigh the 41 people at the funeral, that the president knew would be there because it was a funeral, who died for whatever lame excuse for US imperialism?

Quote
Obama defends his drone program through a messiah complex; he writes, “I wanted somehow to save them … And yet the world they were a part of, and the machinery I commanded, more often had me killing them instead.”

But Obama didn't know he was killing civvies, right?

Quote
With the exception of the wars themselves, the claim that former President Barack Obama is a war criminal also lies within the double-tap initiative. Double-tap drone strikes are as disturbing as they sound; these attacks are follow-up strikes on first responders as they rush to the bombed area trying to assist any survivors. In 2012, an attack on the Shawal Valley aimed at Taliban commander Sadiq Noor reportedly killed up to 14 people in a double-tap drone strike.

Oh wait it was strategic policy to take out civvies, that was just like, the plan all along. But you know, not a war criminal.

Look, I get what you're saying but you can't just moralize the commander in chief or not lay the blame on them. A president makes the decisions, the policy is set by them, they are given every strategy and plan ahead of time and they know what the risk factors are and they still make the choice to drop the bombs. The only president who likely hasn't ordered war crimes in the name of US supremacy is a president who didn't lead during war time only because there happened to be no war.

78
The president as commander in chief signs off all military orders and as such "the buck stops here" in who to blame for the bad ones.

Secondly, you're completely ignoring the US backed Saudi attack on Yemen in which Obama sold $1.29 bil in smart bombs that, and I quote the human rights watch:

Quote
the U.N. had documented that the war had killed 2,355 civilians and wounded 4,862, the majority in coalition airstrikes. In the nearly two dozen strikes that we have investigated on the ground, we collected the names of more than 300 civilians who died, many of them children.

A few casualties is one thing, you and your administration killing thousands and wounding thousands more, a lot who were children, all civilians, is in my opinion at least worth looking into.

But we're the US so no one calls us on it for some reason

79
now do bush and rumsfeld and clinton

And Obama, don't forget the countless innocent civilians carelessly killed in his drone war

Edit: to clarify I'm not kidding, there are so many people in the federal government past and present who should be facing legal consequences for their actions and decisions while in power- especially Annoying Orange and his coup

Drama / Re: Plastiware was arrested for child research

Otis was, as far as I remember, the first creep on the site who actively admitted he was into it. Like, no holds barred, we knew for a fact he lusted after little girls cause he talked about it all the time.

He got away with it because there was always plausible deniability that it was a bit and that he was just trolling. But as time went on and he said more and more, even if it was a bit he was eerily committed to it.

Being 14 and not really knowing anything, I always said nothing and just hand-waved it as "silly internet people being silly." To look back on it now, I only wish I had the convictions I do now as an adult then. Sure, it was an era where most of us would have just called me an SJW or whatever, but I dunno man, I'd rather be the brunt end of the joke on some dumb lego forum than let the groomers continue to operate on the site.

What I'm saying is, we should have bullied Bisjac and Otis (and whoever else) off this site for being creepy weirdos who like underage girls and maybe we wouldn't have normalized it so much that closeted creeps like Plastiware wouldn't have felt safe here so that they (and I don't know if Plasti actually did anything to anyone, he probably just had research which is bad enough) and others wouldn't have groomed the oh so many young and impressionable users who of course flocked to a lego forum.

I was always an older member, joined when I was in high school when a lot of you joined when you weren't even in middle school so I feel like I failed some of you who had to endure the grooming of the weirdos (I know I didn't, I'm saying in like a grand sense for not catching it sooner)

Man we really have, like, a reputation in this community, huh.

Something was in the water here and I blame Otis

I worry about the day that I meet someone irl who played blockland, participated in the forums, and our meeting wasn't because we both played blockland.

I feel like as soon as our eyes meet after the realization a loving siren will sound and we'll both be expected to tear the other asunder

84
it feels different for some reason

Man, and I mean this with no exaggeration or joke, I wish I had that kind of optimism about American politics

85
there is no problem with holding powerful people accountable for crimes they commit. we are the employers. they are our employees. i know it doesn't seem that way now, but it used to be that once upon a time ago and we will either force our way back into that position or die

Fundamentally I agree with you, but the ruling class has only ever served the ruling class. I used to be optimistic about the state of our nation and that "eventually" the "right" people would be voted into power and change the system for the better, but time has only proven that to not be so.

Now that being said, I'm not a doomer. There will be a revolution in this country of some kind at some point, but it's not going to be by using the system/state as it exists currently, just hope it's before it's too late/ the planet literally catches fire.

86
Oh, the rightoid's will have a field day if such a thing were to drop, I assure you.

The problem is that as soon as we start actually holding powerful people accountable for crimes they commit, glorious leader's get prosecuted too.

But then, no one in any state of power in this corpse of a country has a spine so

87
the entire system is probably compromised. and the minute donald Annoying Oranges laptop and iphone leaks and theres over 500gb worth of paper trails on corrupt business dealings with foreign countries and accusations of him molesting his niece ill be sure to put him and everyone associated on blast too. hell maybe they can finally leak that pee video of his from years ago. still waiting on that one

That's the thing, we know the system is corrupt because there's countless pieces of evidence of Annoying Orange's corruption both as a private citizen and as president, and flight log proof he was on the lolita express.

Nothing will happen to Hunter in the same way nothing has or will happen to Annoying Orange because the oligarchy needs it not to

I'll post what I posted on Youtube:

Ghost was such a talented guy- no one was making stuff the way he was back then. He had such ambition for his maps and such a dedication to quality experiences in his work.

It really pains me when blocklanders pass away. Ghost will be remembered forever, may he rest in peace.

I'm a social media director of all things. I make "content" for corporations and I hate it.

I am going back to school for game design/animation, though.
