« on: February 02, 2016, 10:42:05 PM »it's mostly a problem when it becomes some weird prejudice or scapegoat. like if "sjw" is just used as a dismissive label that's not really a valid argument. there's nothing wrong with debating ideas, but just dismissing something as sjw nonsense doesn't really say or do anything
Pretty much this. The people on the Internet that I label as a "SJW" (and I don't actually throw that term around often) are those who constantly nitpick about political correctness and defend every controversial event that is ever mentioned simply because it's either not applied in law or social norms or there is a way to escape the law/social norms on a technicality.
