Avatars from the get-go don't affect me, but I remember specifically for TwenteFreak (specifically Twenky and Twerky accounts), Aware, and Alternative, they had/have characters or something acting dismissive or aggressive and it only made me more pissed at them when they'd act dismissive or aggressive. I don't really have issues with them now though because the two former users aren't around much anymore and Alternative has drastically improved.

I was at work a couple months ago and one of my managers stopped and looked over my shoulder while I was scrubbing a cooler. She asked me if her standing there was making me uncomfortable. I told her no and said she could stand there as long as she wanted. She then moved closer saying, "How about now?" Nope, still good. Then she grabbed my arm with one hand and wrapped her other around my back and other arm. My hair stood on end and I started to jerk away without even thinking about it. She was just like, "Well I guess than answers that!"

Idk....giving someone a five or a fist bump is no problem. Hugs are much more edgy but I can handle that. People touching my arms, neck, or torso in any other way spooks me.
