Games / World of Warcraft: 5.4 Is live.
« on: August 30, 2013, 02:05:45 PM »
A WoW Megathread because the last 4 were too old to bump.
And the OPs of the previous topics are inactive.

I'm not going to copy the wikia info here. Pretty sure anyone who doesn't know about WoW already can look that stuff up if they need to.

Sweet. Thanks for the effort!

I finished it.. With the time I had.
If you want to have someone else add more animations, I'll include the .ms3d with it.

As of now, the animation works like this.
Mouse fires > hammer hits > delay > clip rotates > done

It looks great in-game. And I tested it with a simple gun edit script.

The test add-on i used is here;
PM me for the zip, i need to fix the hammer.

Inside of the .zip is the .ms3d if you need it, and of course.. The .dts.
Credit to Masterlegodude for fixing the face errors.

Lettuce is good, but not too much of it. Sometimes I ask for no lettuce or tomatoes.

I always play unconventionally when it comes to competitive games, it makes them more fun  :cookieMonster:
I've tried this before, It works in some games.

Playing like you don't care about winning, maybe like in TF2 when you play spy and sap the same guys dispenser all game regardless of how far behind your team is.
Or troll building AP malphite on league of legends or something. Doing unconventional things always helps it seems.
It makes it seem like I wasn't trying on purpose. If that makes sense...

To be fair when I saw this thread and saw it was you pandan I was gonna be a richard. But since you've came back whenever I've seen you around you seem like a pretty cool guy.

Back on topic. When you get mad about things I find it best to just step away from it. I end up getting into huge arguments with people because I just keep going. I keep getting angrier, mostly due to just arguing. It really helps when I just step back and try not to think about it. Even when I'm doing something and start getting pissed about it if I step away and come back later I feel so much better.
I appreciate the honesty, and the advice.

Yeah a lot of you are saying to step away, and I try to do that sometimes. But my ego gets in the way, and I don't want to let the other guy win. Which is part of the problem.
I've decided to stop playing so many competitive games. And if I do play them, I guess I just need to not give a stuff if I step away from it.

I've been reading every reply. So none of the advice is going unnoticed. Thanks everyone. Exploration is important for finding a solution to a problem.

I grew out of it. I used to rage and scream and beat the stuff out of my computer. I don't know what happened but at about age 18 or so I just got over it out of the blue it seems. I almost never get mad now and if I do it's like very mild.

I would never get physical with my rage, which is good.

Also it appears that the common consensus is for me to just avoid competitive games.

I'm sure not taking your anger to the forums and onto people who like things that you don't would help too.

Oh wait. You're Pandan. That's never going to happen.
Get out of the thread.

My anger toward furries is completely unrelated.

I usually get mad when I am in a bad mood and play COD/BF3.

Like when some loving people decide to get into a helicopter I gun in, then do not know how to fly and go upside down.

Or when jets can't get rid of you so they ram into you.

Or when people constantly use stingers/iglas. (Fuuu)

I don't think you get what I mean...

I was in your position once. My brother is two years older than me so most games he'd beat me at. Well, except Battlefront 2. I'd kick his ass at it. Except one time I raged so hard over something I can't remember that he got up and left. I felt bad because that was the last time I ever got to play a console game with him like that. Well, except Modern Warfare 3. But that was it. lol

Ever since then I've gotten much better, though. I don't rage as badly as I used to, but I used to rage so bad that I'd act like somebody who just got their ass handed to them in League Of Legends' major tournaments — or like my brother when the internet forgets up his performance in League because of it being slow. :D

I only rage in online multi-player games now; but not nearly as bad as I used to. lol

Just try to stay out of playing competitive games with your friends for a few years is the best I can recommend. If you really want to play competitively with your friends, though, I'd pick a game that isn't an FPS. FPS games are always a really bad game to play with friends because if you die, they'll blame your skill. If it were some other random game like Super Smash Bros, nobody would really give a forget if you died or not. lol
Sometimes I just get into a mood and end up being a huge richard. But it's only with people I'm close with. I'm pretty shy around people I don't know but when I'm comfortable around someone I bloom like a social flower. When I get really comfortable with someone I end up letting off steam with them and then I feel like a douche. I do end up getting mad a lot about stupid stuff. I'm pretty sure it's just what I do to vent but I know it's douchie.

Though sometimes people mistake my jabbing at people as a joke as me trying to be a richard. I just don't mind when people do it to me so I do it to them.

I appreciate the replies everyone. It helps to read what others have gone/go through.

1. No one can possibly know if "God' exists.

2. Faith is holding a belief without evidence.
And I don't believe in things without evidence.
Disproving a faith is impossible, and proving it is impossible.

3. I neither doubt or disbelieve in God's existence. It is merely unlikely for God to exist. I have no way of knowing this to be true.

4. My life is meaningful because I'm able to do what makes me happy. As long as what I do doesn't infringe on other's happiness.

Disclamer: Trolling will be ignored. Try to have a serious discussion please. I really need some advice.

I have this problem, where I will take any competitive/multiplayer game too seriously.
I will growl and curse when I die, or when some bullstuff happens.
I NEVER rage at singleplayer games. And it has to do with a inner problem that I recently realized.

I can trace this back to my childhood.
I used to live in a neighborhood full of kids my brothers age. (2 years older)
They all used to play competitive games (Fighting games, Unreal Tournament, Halo Etc)

Basically the only friends I had were my brother's friends. Which created a problem..
I was the youngest one among my friends, and since I was younger, I sucked at every video game I tried to include myself in. And because of that, I always lost. Literally every game we played. I WAS that handicapped cousin you handed the un-plugged controller to.

Ever since I can remember, I've had this issue. It's never bad when I'm playing alone, but when I play with friends.. I get really competitive for no loving reason at all. "Dude, who cares. He obviously has a fightstick and i'm using a gamepad."

Everyone I played games with knows this stuff, and It's one of the biggest reasons why I was kicked out of every "game night" ever since.
I've gotten much much better now, I calm myself by just choosing NOT to play games at all.

Basically, my question is..
Does anyone have a similar issue with controlling un-necessary anger?
If so, how do you deal with it?
