On that note; I think blockland needs more player customization anyways. Add some more hats, and other junk.

i was drafted into the gulf war when i was 12 years old.
got my legs torn off by sadam's golf cart.
i returned home to a hero's welcome. my girlfriend was cheating on me with my brother, and she left me with a 12 thousand dollar phone bill.
i lived on the street for 2 years, sucking richard for mcdonalds burgers. fighting boxcar-joe for the non pee smelling corner of the dumpster.
my original blockland id revoked for being a friend, i resorted to carving legos out of used soap i found on the lockerroom floor of a ymca.
oh yeah and my richard got cancer. yes, my richard.

i cant ask for prizes and sympathy. i simply dont have the time when im so busy thanking jesus for every sunny morning i wake up to.

I don't think you understand the idea of accomplishment in games.

It feels good to go over a hurdle (such as farming kills to earn a weapon you want)
Then getting rewarded for your work.

People enjoy that. It's not a ploy to keep people at your server/game. People will leave if they think it's stuff. A in-game shop system isn't going to force them to stay.
