you're just describing gimmicky stuff pand

and that's fine usually but you can't have that be the majority of anything you want people to have a sense of familiarity in, you have to keep people grounded or else they'll get confused about what is what and a gap will grow between new players and old players because of the time it takes to figure out each and every weapon


i made an entire rant about this actually (at least as far as servers go)

you realize this is what i mean about getting (faux?)mopey if we disagree with you.

You actually made a rant thread on people hosting TDMs?
And you ranted on unoriginality and carbon copies of other games?

Then you make the largest weapon pack in blockland history with a bunch of similar weapon?

And i'm not mopey, most of my models are bad.

My opinion still stands. Your server has bad design elements.

And 13-15 players later sounds like a lie considering the time.

Taboo didn't call my model bad. He called it horrible.
He did it out of spite, he has a long running hatred for me. :^(
(This is Taboo we're talking about here :^) )

And you didn't flame my model, you gave me real advice on how I should go about fixing it.
Read your own posts, you deserve more credit than that.

i dont like any weapons anyone makes.

default has yet to be made obsolete in gamemodes.

I hate any weapon that shoots and does damage.

That's exactly how I am. I need unique things. What the forget is the point to having 3 different SMGs? and 5 different pistols?

Different topic entirely though. I mean, this drama topic has spun off course enough already.

That's okay. I'm used to being attacked and compared to other people.

Including you, who one more than one occasion have called my models plain bad in the past.
(Years ago, but who remembers now anyways)

Maybe i'm just having a bad night, every night. And people who piss me off, piss me off. And there's no explanation.

Usually, when someone gives me advice on what to change in a model, I'll do it.
Unless it was a design choice. But even then, if enough people say they don't like it. I'll change it.

Making art and assuming it's perfect won't let yourself improve. That's something I learned on my own.
Also, assuming that your art is better than everyone else's is also a no-no.

Art is unique, and we can all learn things from each other.

to be fair, bush maintains a good consistent quality and standard for everything he makes compared to what you used to/ make

him blowing off your suggestions sounds more like a sound strategy from his position

Personally I don't like his weapon designs. They look too bulky and fat.
So that's a matter of your opinion. I'm sure a majority of people share it, but who wouldn't.

This is from the creator of the most spammed weapon pack ever made.
Every weapon fires bullets and does damage.

Nothing unique there.

I checked the conversation; there is no record of me calling you 'Bad'. I said that aiming would help, as well as finding for ammo, and that maybe you don't understand it; that's the closest thing to me calling you bad. I was being as polite as I could about the 'skill' bracket between us, it's a competitive topic that can't really be talked about without someone getting hurt.
Not trying to be arrogant; but being good drives people away all the loving time. I'm not going to pretend to be 'not good'.

I have no clue why you weren't spawning without weapons.The only way for that to happen is if you clicked something you weren't supposed to, and sadly there's not enough event lines for me to make it completely 'handicap proof'.

There's no complications in the spawn system, and it's not lore based. I'm trying my hardest to simplify this by the day; I've spent months on this, equaling more time than you have spent giving it a chance. I can't blame you though; because I'm bad at making things I guess.

Carefully picking words doesn't make you immune to being a richard.
You basically called me bad. On two occasions.

That's okay though, I know I'm not bad, if it weren't for the eye burning maps than I would have faired a better chance.

I might give your server another chance when people are online. That way I'm not being trolled by you and being called bad to my face.

some people get power trips and other people don't

i used to get power trips but i didnt actually use tools to facilitate them (this was around the era of iban's cityrpg) and all i really try to do when i host is get a bunch of dudes in the server to be able to do something

usually they try not to forget up anything if they like the server enough so i just give them something to do while i try to make sure everything is in place for whatever i'm trying to do (and that thing is usually 'test a bunch of weapons/ a map' so everyone wins by default)

the last time you were on my server you were just stuffting on my server

i even told you that you were acting like a punk and gave you my reasoning as to why i thought you were acting like a punk and you got all forgetin mopey and depressed like 'oh boo hoo you're not gonna listen to me i have no worthwhile opinion according to you' while i told you that despite the fact that i disagree with your opinion that i respect the fact you have it and its fine that you're vocalizing it as long as you don't dance around trying to make me the bad guy for failing to nod my head in agreement

banning and muting have the same effect on people's relative amount of hate to the server and if the person goes back and thinks they're in the wrong then the pie's on the admin's face but now you have a guy who respects your rules and is at least somewhat apologetic about the fact he (probably unknowingly) shat on the server

but like if it's some guy who is just trying to stuff on the server for the sake of stuffting on the server it doesn't matter what you do because he'll just come back and try to stuff on the server (possibly now because he's mad that you banned him for misconduct in the first place)

the trick is being able to tell the difference and having enough give in your administration to make sure you can catch the people who fall through the gaps

It sounds like you have some issues of your own if you think I do this routinely.

And to sum up my experience, it was fun. But again, I got frustrated that you blew off every one of my suggestions instantly.
As long as you're not someone who believes that their designs don't need influence because they don't have flaws, then that's a good thing right?
And it's merely the player's fault for playing your game incorrectly! Of course!

But my opinion of you has nothing to do with the topic of discussion.

Nice, you left out the parts where you blatantly called me bad. Congrats. No big surprise there.

I wanted to like your deathmatch. But being spawned with no weapons half the time due to glitching with events is frustrating and really set me off.

I had to kill myself 6 times to get it to work once.

Also, you don't play on Tezuni's servers.
He has a weapon selection system with about as many selections as you, and it's easier to understand than yours.
Wow!

I won't be in the least surprised if your server doesn't become a hit because of this over complicated LORE based spawning system.

Also, your server is not for me, because it's bad.

If they're stuffting on the server, why do you let them play on the server?
That's the thing I can't wrap my head around.

Also, what I said was a huge exaggeration. Obviously there are good administrators out there.
However; there are more bad ones than good ones. And in general, I see mute being used abusively.

No, what it does is it makes that person even more ticked off.
Banning happens one time, and the person is given time to adjust their OWN behavior if they decide to rejoin the server.

Mute mod is not doing any good. At least all the times I see it.
