im not sure bt are you using any spaces in the file names. i did that mistake once and found out that the names cant include A space. instead try using _ as a space.

Are you still looking for a 3D Modeler? I have been modeling for about 3 years now and very experienced in Blender. I've made low to high polygon models. I'm not too good at texturing, but I know how to properly and efficiently unwrap meshes. I'll post my work down below.

Good examples, We already have a modeller but i'll see if i can find something you can do for us.

I'll PM you in case of that.

You have a somewhat rusted, abandoned room and then there is a perfectly clean, white, working computer on the desk. That doesn't make any sense.

Well it's supposed to work and the texture is quite WIP still.

Testing out the wrench pickup, Video link here:

Sorry for the low framerate, my screen capture program was filming on medium quality which is 24fps.
And also there's no audio.

Not really, I'm just giving my pro license which I bought legally?
Plus it costs 1500$ I doubt you got that much but still, if you ever need it, hit me up.

I'm buying it inside europe so we use eruos. Unity costs 1140 in euros and i don't want to detail how much money i've got now but at least i've got more that that.

I've got a unity pro license, if this seems promising you can have it.

Distributing unity pro licenses is illegal. And i already got the money to buy unity pro, but i'll wait until my summer holiday is over so i can make a couple hundred more...

Post a list of the stuff you want made and a playable demo. It doesn't have to be pretty or great, just something where people can walk around. How long have you been developing? Where did you get the current assets? Will the game be free or commercial? Is this standalone or a mod? Does it require some other game to function? What engine are you using?

The pipe in the first pic doesn't cast a shadow so either your real time shadows are poopy or your baked lighting hasn't been rebaked.

Well for now unity basic doesn't support realtime shadows and baking is poor. Unity pro should fix this, as it includes realtime shadows and so on.

Most of the models are made by me so far, I've used some royalty free assets as props and so on.

For my experience, I've worked with game engines for a good 5-6 years. And i moved to unity from bge about 2 years ago. I was looking for good engines with a good price - quality balance. I tried torque 3d and torque x. I even went for blitz3d and source plus UDK. But i finally got into unity because of it's user friendly interface and an excellent community which is ready to answer in any question/issue within 24hours.

As for the free to play/commercial stuff, I have already put alot of money in unity. But not specially in this project. I'd be ready to make this as a free to play, But if the quality reaches a certain level or it has potential for commercial value, i could maybe considering of turning this into a commercial product. A demo might be soon availiable if i manage to finish the first level in time. I'm very busy with my job these weeks so the the release of a demo might stretch a over a week or so.

This project has been around for a good month for now.

Well what we are looking for is modellers for props and misc, UI designers for the GUI buttons and so on. And texture artists to make moderate or good quality textures (not just a random plain texture with AO over it.) We are using unity3d basic and upgrading to unity pro within 2 weeks or so. The player system is made by visionpunk and uses next-gen procedual technology.

For the modelling the criteria is:

-medium to low poly models.
-No double faces.
-Proper UVs.
-A common format, like .dae .obj .3ds

Help / Re: Blockland not working at all...
« on: November 10, 2012, 02:10:19 PM »
I've had similar trouble running the game even before the last update but now it's almost unplayable. i have managed to join a few servers but it requires around 5-10 tries of restarting blockland after it crashes during the load. This is getting quite annoying.

I'm so damn busy working on my own game too, I just bought some resources that gave my game a GREAT update:

Just finished up adding more detail/polygons to Mafia's Mosin Nagant model.

(The old model is in the back)

Wow! i want that model.
I'm developing a game where that could be useful.
