What if someone stole your social security card? Would you be flattered that someone wants to "be" you?
An extreme comparison, I'm sure, but the fact of the matter is that to some people their avatar is who they are around here, to use their avatar is to masquerade as them in their eyes.

Such a concept might not make sense to someone who changes their avatar as often as night changes to day, but as a person who has, essentially, been using the same avatar for the past 5-6~ years I can tell you that I would be pretty damn annoyed if someone used my avatar and wouldn't change it no matter how much I asked them to

looking back on my computer build, I think I picked really stuffty parts. should've followed advice better.

All I can tell you is that you shouldn't have spent $280 on an OS, should've just gotten Home Premium and put the rest of the money towards a CPU or better GPU, I also would've gotten a Caviar Black instead of a Caviar Blue and 2x2GB sticks of RAM instead of 1x4GB, each stick can only handle so many operations at once regardless of speed, spreading the workload over multiple sticks instead of one is always a good idea, I have 4x2GB sticks myself

It really, really isn't.
It's set in the same world with the same plot and the same NPC's who say the same things and give you the same quests, at most I'd call RS a mod for RSC.

In any case the few people on these forums who play RS and want to talk about it post in the existing Runescape megathread, I highly doubt that enough people are going to post about Runescape that it becomes hard to discern which Runescape they are talking about thus warranting the creation of another megathread for disambiguation purposes
