If you want to run Windows 7 on your PC, here's what it takes:

1 gigahertz (GHz) or faster 32-bit (x86) or 64-bit (x64) processor

http://windows.microsoft.com/en-US/windows7/products/system-requirements

Ah, so that processor is just enough to run Win7 and nothing else at all.
Fantastic laptop you've got there OP

Wait, you're running Win7 on a 1Ghz processor?
Isn't that, like, half the minimum clock speed Win7 requires?

I don't see the problem, it's just a creme egg with green food colouring instead of yellow to make it more festive for Halloween.
Calm down, gosh

The exterior is too white. Make the railings a brown of some sort. And flowers and green grass when it's snowing? Interior could use different wall colors for different rooms. Your couches and chairs look a bit weird.

The exterior was never painted, I tend to build the actual building in white and then colour it in last, the snow is just a general usage environment setup that I actually made in preparation for a completely different project and I know the chairs look weird but the couch looks pretty decent close-up.

Thanks, though

Gallery / Unfinished House
« on: September 25, 2012, 06:37:28 AM »
I decided to post pictures of a house I worked on after the S&S update, the construction of the house itself is finished, but the furnishing is not and I doubt I will ever get around to finishing it, this was my first time building since around v8 and I tried to give this house the look of somewhere that people lived.
The reason I decided to post images of it was to get feedback on what I did do in an attempt to find out which parts I could improve upon in the future, I do not think I will ever complete this due to several personal problems with the build itself and some issues with the environment settings that I cannot be bothered to tweak until they look right.

Ratings out of 10 are allowed but I would much prefer actual criticism and advice, thanks.

Overview - Angle 1

Overview - Angle 2

Combined decking and patio area

Foyer

Dining area

Kitchen (and my pet snowflake)

Living Room/Lounge

These images are all of the ground floor, the second floor consists of three rooms, the bathroom, the office and the bedroom, none of which are furnished or lighted.
That is all I have to show and this concludes what is probably my only gallery thread in five years of being here, I hope my design choices didn't make you gouge out your eyes too bad and I'd appreciate any advice on how not to make you do that with the appearance of my builds, thanks

Try using more wubstep and lens flares next time.
Some pictures of marijuana wouldn't go amiss either

I don't think Blockland is the best thing to make you realise that you have emotions, a website dedicated to pictures of puppies aborted using shovels would probably be better at it, nor do I think the community is the best thing to consider an extended family, the shovel abortionist would probably be a better choice than us.
But sure, okay, that's nice  :cookieMonster:

Off Topic / Re: Where do yall get your motivation?
« on: September 25, 2012, 05:49:43 AM »
It sounds more like you just lack to attention span and patience to do things than a geniune lack of motivation, to be honest.
You just have to learn to put your mind to something, it takes time to do so but learning to do it allowed me to play games for more than an hour or two at a time before getting bored

If you lack the motivation to do things that you can do then you just weren't meant to do them, regardless of how well you are capable of doing them.
Many people are motivated to do things that they are good at, there are also people who are motivated to do things that they aren't very good at, your skill doesn't factor into it if you weren't supposed to do it in the first place.

Yes, I do believe in destiny and fate and all that nonsense

I'm probably going to look into getting more gundam kits, the only one I have is one which my brother bought back from China for me and it's a HG 1/144th Cherudim, I didn't have proper tools to put it together so I used a rusty old penknife and a nail-file along with all of my patience and careful-ness.
It came out quite well and looks good enough up-close, but if you brown townyse it then you can spot the parts where my filing or cutting was insufficient, can anyone give me a small list of tools I'll need if I'm going to get into MG kits? I've never really had a hobby like this so I have no idea what I'd need
