I've spent a huge amount of my waking life in front of the computer, at least a quarter of it and I can still go outside in the bright sunshine for hours and hours with no problems.
Speaking of which, I want to go for a bike ride :o

I wish my college had better funding, I'm taking courses in IT but there's no way at all for me to do my work outside the classroom because we're not allowed to use USB sticks in case we infect the entire network without realizing it, pretty good reason I guess but it's not a good enough reason since it completely confines all work to the classroom and nowhere else :c

I'm not really a kid in any way at all, and while I did google at least it's better than remaining completely ignorant like most of the people in this thread.

Rads are a unit of measurement only used when measuring the amount of radiation inside a biological object but you can also use greys.
Curies are a unit used when measuring the amount of radiation that an irradiated or otherwise radioactive object is emitting.
Rems are used to measure the biological risk from exposure to radiation.

This whole thing will blow over in about a month and the evacuation and exclusion zone will be removed in about 2-3 months.
It's easy to get rid of residual radiation in this day and age once you prevent the source from producing any more, in any case that plant will be out of service for around 7 months once they stop it
