What do you mean is there any reason behind it?
why are you wanting to give away $50 when you could actually make some money out of this if you were to play with the $1?

It should be on a Saturday, the time should probably be accommodating the highest amount of players possible around the world who play the server/intend on competing.
I agree, though I think currently there are a lot of final exams going on for people around the world.

I offered to put $50 in the pool. Why not just accept my offer and get rid of the pay to enter?
Any reason behind this?

If I was able to pay I would but I can't that is why I'm not a donator.

could the winner choose there prize to be like a single blockland key instead, that type of stuff?
I don't understand why you think we would spend $40 of our own money for this. That's a lot of money and would probably amount to half of my monthly allowance. If you can't see why our system is a good idea then don't play. We aren't forcing you.

its roblox all over again

Not going to compete, cash prizes and entry fees are stupid
>Optional.

Getting money from another person's game is kind of un fair.

It isn't required, and if you don't pay and win the portion of money you win will go towards hosting for Zapkraft Servers.

Unless you win without paying none of the money goes towards Zapkraft. It isn't pay to play, you can sign up for free. The $1 is only there for those who want to attempt to win something out of this.

Side note: Can we also discuss dates

Going to try and answer as many questions as possible.

Will VIP users be able to use their golden brooms in this championship, too?
No.

I'll put cash up too once more info is released.

It all starts with a taster round, every player is pitted against each other in a free for all. Using the scores of players in that round the top 20 will carry on into the four groups. Based on how well you do (If you get into the 20) you will be categorised into the four groups. In those four groups there will be 5 players. Those groups will all be free for alls (Not teams). The two highest scored players of each group will continue into the next round where everyone is grouped back up into a 8 player free for all, which then takes the top four players into separate 1v1s where they compete for first, second, third and fourth.

All entry money is put towards the winning prize. First place will receive 50% of the total, second 30% and third 20%.
