unless you're on a budget, I think it'd always be better to upgrade as much stuff as you could

So I took a look at the inside of my PC today. Covered in dust. I'm gonna clean it out with some stuff this week, but that's gonna be a temporary fix. My computer's been running slowly for a while now. I can no longer run shaders.
On a happier note, I realize now why my audio is so terrible and why speccy reports several different audio sources: I have no soundcard in this thing. I thought I did, but the more I thought about it and the more I look at speccy, it looks like sound is coming out of the graphics card.
So my question for the BLFers who make music is where can I find a good but cheap in-computer (PCI) sound card? My composition professor has me looking on Sweetwater, but all the cards there are more than half my budget.

I think microtransactions are dumb no matter what they're used for. Instead of putting extra content into a complete game, you're opting to have people pay extra money even though they already paid $60+ to buy the original game.
I can understand if they put it into a F2P game, but otherwise it's just not justified.

I too am glad that some stuffty-but-not-dangerous content that was made with the help of YouTube's stuffty algorithm is getting regulated off of YouTube because two lefties decided to complain about it in the news. This instead of, idk, fixing the algorithm, removing the algorithm altogether, y'know, permanent fixes.
Really makes you think why bigger issues haven't been dealt with yet.
