I thought this too, but I just had one of those nights again (this is the third time in a row now) and I'm starting to think it's more serious then that. I finished my work earlier than usual, and I went to bed. I try for at least six hours a night, which is lower than for most people, but seriously, in college there's no way you're getting eight unless you just solely do work non-stop during the week, which would be just as intolerable for me as what's happening now. Basically, I got into bed in time, but I spent a literal hour tossing and turning about how I was failing practically every course minus two and thinking about my strategy to make it up. I woke up today at 2:30pm, barely able to get up off of my back.
I'm going to go to the health department about this. I hope you're right though, and it's just a thing with not getting enough sleep.

Okay, so like I said, I met with the associate dean and he told me that I couldn't switch classes unless a health issue came up, so I wanted to discuss something that's been happening for the past couple of days that I think is becoming an issue.
For like the past couple of days I've had classes that start at 9am, which is not early for most people, me included. Problem is, I have so much work to do at night, and with the lack of a tutor in Thermodynamics, I spend several hours working on that alone, without much progress. I end up unable to even pull myself out of bed 15 minutes before class starts, which is why I set up two alarms ten minutes apart from each other. I thought it would fix it, but it's done nothing, so I've ended up sleeping until noon and missing almost all my classes. This includes the stuff that really counts.
I thought that it was just a problem with getting work done late at night, but yesterday night all I did was a small questionnaire and studying for a test and I still couldn't get out of bed, this time at 10am, which is not early at all. I don't know what's going on here. Should I talk with student health?

« on: October 31, 2017, 06:42:38 PM »They've got to walk on a certain amount of eggshells considering that children's networks don't like permanent deaths of humanoid-like characters. If killing some insignificant character means getting the show canceled, that sounds like a stuff deal.
Hopefully, that changes soon. Considering shows on Cartoon Network (at the very least) are becoming more grown-up oriented, with some phrases once considered "too adult" being used regularly in the shows I've seen, hopefully, they'll evolve to have more grown-up plots as well.
I mean, I grew up on kid-oriented animated films from the 90s and 80s. People died permanently A LOT in those movies, and if none of the good guys did, the bad guy almost certainly got killed.
