people do this to highlight the hypocrisy of the benghazi alarmists, not because they actually think it's super important
basically, "this incident is comparable to benghazi, but you're not freaking the forget out about it. clearly you were just bullstuffting with benghazi for political reasons"

edit: okay to be honest i really have no idea if television news is making a big deal of it, i get most of my news from print
but my general impression is that it was a relatively minor story

that'd be a good point if the niger assault was anything like benghazi

is the gulf war like benghazi? it happened in the middle east, and american soldiers died in heavy combat
