Games / Steam Weekend Deal: Far Cry/Far Cry 2

This weekend Valve is offering both games 50% off. However, we aren't going to consider Far Cry as part of the deal because it is complete stuff. Seriously. Don't buy it. Especially if you were planning on buying it because Far Cry 2 wouldn't work on your computer.
Far Cry 2 itself is a pretty fun game, but there are many mixed feelings towards the game due to the fact that it is an Xbox 360 port. However, it does feel like a PC game, but it has its quirks.

What are your actual download speeds?
You have probably realized that having a 20mbps connection does not mean that everything you download will be downloaded at that speed.
Go here and post your average download speed (or the highest you've seen it go).
It is recommended that you choose the server that is closest to where you live.
Also, you don't have to finish downloading the file.

Off Topic / My motherboard caught on fire. (And has now died. Choosing new one.)

This happened. It is a burn. This MSI microATX motherboard has been giving me problems for a while now, and the computer had been spontaneously shutting down on me in the most random moments for at least a few months now.
So today, it does the same thing, only it can not turn back on, like it normally is able to. I open it and find this burn mark near my sound card (I removed it for the picture).
I try to diagnose the problem with no luck; I gave up and tried powering it up again just to see what would happen. It worked fine.
Long story short, something on my motherboard burned, computer stopped working, and now my computer works again.
So the motherboard finally quit today, and it turns out that if I sent this in for RMA, it will most likely be rejected because it has a burn.
My computer isn't really anything too fancy, I just need a board to replace this one. I am not buying another MSI board.
The problem can also be the power supply, but I opened it and saw no form of damage. It's best to assume it's fine and to say it is the board's fault since it burned. If it does turn out to be the power supply, I can just buy another cheap one until I can afford one of a quality brand.

Some MP3 player someone gave me from Bed Bath and Beyond. It holds 256mb, but it has surprisingly good audio quality.
My plans are to paint each individual part a glossy black, except for the buttons, switch, and LED.

MINI Clip MP3 Player Support 1GB 2GB Micro SD/TF Card
It has no screen, but I'm fine with that as I generally remember how I organize my songs, and I don't care about video playback on small mobile devices.
That, and it has a slot for a Micro SD card, so over time (If it lives that long), I can keep buying larger Micro SD cards.

General Discussion / Citybuild server.

I recently started hosting a dedicated Citybuild server, sans RP. You must follow the grid of 64x64 baseplates, so there is little to no spam.
Server is pretty quiet right now, just letting you guys know that it's there if you would like to join.

Help / Manual banning

For as long as I have been hosting servers, I have never learned how to manually ban someone.
I added someone's ID and such to BANLIST.txt, and it didn't show up in-game in the unban list.
Am I doing something wrong? If so, can someone give me the general format of a manual ban/an example?
