Games / I've been offered a 25% discount from EA for a game in online store.

No idea what to get. I'm considering getting Mercenaries 2, since it's 10 bucks sans the discount.

I'd wait for Bad Company 2, but I'm thinking I will get that for console and get 1943 for PC.

...Maybe I should wait for 1943 to be released?

I just went to Wal-mart, and picked up one of these because my onboard audio was out, and I was using a 10 year old card for sound.

Everything sounds so clear and crisp. :o

Lol, I just tried to play a song, and it was delayed by about 10 seconds. The bass startled me when it started. :D

You came across some money and decided to use it to build a nice computer. A full system. There is no set budget, but try to be realistic about it. In other words, if you don't think you would use it, or you think it would be overkill, don't "buy" it.

Must be built on nothing but Newegg. DO NOT USE REBATE PRICES. "You save" is fine.

Besides the tower, it must include:

• An OS
• Monitor
• Speakers
• Mouse
• Keyboard

Thermal paste doesn't have to be added but it can if you wish. Shipping/tax does not exist. A final price would be very nice.

I feel very alone with my taste for Drum and Bass music. It seems everyone is into a million different kinds of rock, and rap.

The only way I know people listen to and admire it is from the comments or number of listeners on some songs on youtube/last.fm

It's loving ridiculous. I've been getting 35.5kbps for like a week now. When it's working the way it should be, I get no more than 110kbps. Even on uncapped downloads.

Meanwhile at my other house I'm getting 256kbps wireless on Comcast. Uncapped downloads will give me upwards of 1Mbps.

Internet games seem to work fine, however I have noticed that my average ping has gone up, further lowering my server selection.

Knees hurt, so minimal walking. Feels like someone is loving taking their warm hands and crushing my brain. Everywhere is sore. Throat is extremely annoying me. I feel like I have a fever when I don't. Shortness of breath when doing simple things like walking to another room. Hard to sleep due to annoying throat. :(

Anyone feel like this before?

Games / I want custom firmware/linux on my PSP.

I have a fat (2000?) PSP. I need a magic memory stick and pandora battery from what I've heard.

What else would I need, and why is the pandora battery needed? I heard it was relatively easy to make a magic memory stick, and you could convert it back to normal once you were done with it.

You can also run a real version of Linux on it, because I've seen it, and I am 100% sure it wasn't a crappy portal.
