« on: June 10, 2008, 02:59:32 PM »Why not just use FLStudio? That's the one that was used in the video. The demo version gives you nearly all of the features and mp3 and wav export functions. It never runs out. I've had it for like a year now, barely ever use it.
Might use it if I don't find a good freeware alternative.

I wanted to add music to my game and I wanted it to be something that wasn't MIDI but was still computer-generated. I'm not thinking of something that requires instruments, as that would be redundant. I'm asking for something more like a synthesizer.

The video isn't broken, its just that the actual video footage starts at around 14 seconds to tie in with the music better.

What I hated is that for the first like 20 levels in VCO, everything would seem reasonably based off teh 16th century.
Then you started seeing magic swords and undead and imps and crap.
At least be CONSISTENT.
I agree. Another thing that I hate in rpg's is when you attack something and 5000 particles shoot out of you.

Im not saying that you can say it's bad just say it in a nice way and tell the person how they could do better EX ( It's good but you could add a bit more detail ) instead of Ex ( Wow thats crap ). Today i went around blockland servers and have being asking blocklanders who the meanest people on the forums are and this is what i got , if there are others that you wont me to put up just ask.
