Depends on whether the person want's a holographic "laser" weapon or somethin like a lightsaber/infinitely sharp cutting tool.

This demonstrates the former

Char's example of Zero's blade demonstrates the latter

that looks tight as hell

One of the first lucid dreams I ever had went like-
"Hmm I'm not really sure why I'm on this cliff I think I might be dreaming, I bet if a dragon flies past that mountain this is a dream"
>dragon flies past
forget yeah
I'm not going to lie the rest of that dream was mostly violent orgies.

Daydreaming is using your imagination, but in a dream you can still use your imagination in a lucid dream, because if you can control your dreams you can also Imagine things too.  Its very possible, because I've done this so many times.

yeah i kinda just said that

You're not supposed to look at a keyboard while you type, that's not even a challenge.

that's why this thread is gay as stuff

so day dreaming is really lucid dreaming because i'm aware i'm dreaming

no day dreaming is just using your imagination while you're awake

lucid dreaming is when you're mentally and physically asleep but your mind (you) is aware that you're dreaming during a dream.

that sounds like it'd make me fall asleep lol.

that's the idea, but you don't want your mind to go to sleep so you just have to try and keep your mind active without doing anything with your body physically

wait how are you supposed to stay still without blinking? wat this is so confusing.

why would you be blinking you're basically trying to go to sleep without letting your mind go to sleep; your eyes would be closed

To be honest, it takes a lot of self control not to give in to the itch and swallow reflexes, but these are signs that your mind is checking if your body is asleep. If you don't respond, it'll start into paralyzing your body for sleeping.

wait
so if you actually remember your dreams they are lucid dreams?

if you can control you dream

lolno

A lucid dream is a dream where you are AWARE you're dreaming.

There are "layers" of lucidity (as described by one Giz Edwards) and at the lowest "layer", you're simply vaguely aware you're dreaming but don't have any control over what goes on. At the highest "layer", you've pretty much got control over everything.

why would it be a good idea to stay still then? for sleep paralysis? what about the adventures?

Consider sleep paralysis like a gateway to lucidity. The technique I described is called the "WILD" technique and is the most effective/common one.

Or so I hear.

what does this staying still do? also, can you feel pain in the dreams? say if scout hit you upside the head with an aluminum bat? or getting shot with a scattergun?

staying still tricks your mind into thinking your body is asleep, so your mind thinks you're starting to dream so it locks up your body so you don't act out your dreams AKA sleep paralysis.

Also, pain in dreams is kind of an iffy area. Sometimes you won't feel anything, sometimes you'll feel everything, and sometimes you can choose.

I suppose it just depends on your mental state at the time.
