I like the normal 3DS because it can fit in your pocket.
easier to get street passes, yo.

Street passes are hella-valuable in some games.

The XL gets better battery life tho

More time to spend playing at home.

Don't get an XL, get the regular 3DS.

It's portable, cheaper, and has more accessories that work for it, if you're into that.

Unless you're just a no-life with extra cash laying around and you never go anywhere, I wouldn't recommend getting an XL.
