I shouldn't have to point out how it is inherently easier, but if you were paying attention, you would know. I'll do it again, just for you.

not everyone has the time, patience, mental capacity, or desire/motivation to learn how to make mods.

This implies that these are the qualities required by someone who wants to make mods, however, they are not as necessary when it comes to making videos, as proven by the mod-maker to filmmaker ratio.

To make a film, all you really need is motivation and recording software.

this isn't a search for the lost ark or some stuff, just go on gallery! you've yet to refer me to any of filipe's works either!

A. His youtube channel I just discovered.

That's funny, I look up "blockland greenlight" on youtube, and the first three videos are Filipe's.

So he's a modder AND a filmmaker.

i agree that making a video is easier, but as a guy who has both tried before to make a good video AND tried to code things, i think making a blockland video that actually becomes popular needs an equal amount of research and practice as making a decent mod for blockland.

Well at that point it's merely a matter of opinion, and I can't change that.

what the forget are you talking about, making a good video is hard
please go try to make an animated short or another trailer that matches eksi's level of quality then tell everybody that making a video is easy

Great, I'll get to work on that.

You know why I can get to work on that? Because I don't have to learn how to code when I can simply take footage from Blockland and compile it.

Also, I'd love to see Eksi's level of quality, but I never see any of his stuff, one of the main reasons I started posting here.

And you guys have just been oh so helpful in referring me to his work.

And yet the amount of people who make videos for Blockland outweigh the amount of people who make mods for Blockland.

It's about the ratio between the two.

More people are willing to make an amusing/entertaining/informative video about Blockland. Why? Because it's easier.

I'm not sure what you mean. Are you referring specifically to publicity? Don't home in on that.

What I meant was anyone can make a video, but not everyone can make a mod.

i really wanted to be nominated so i went to houses randomly and made them sign petitions and then i gave that to the district attorney and he got the good word in with gov. XR-7

but the amount of skill you have in making them effects how many people watch it which depends on how famous you get
reson is indirectly insulting eksi by claiming that it's easy to make videos and get popular off of it. which it isn't.

Regardless, it's more difficult to make successful mods, which Filipe is great at.
