« on: December 19, 2013, 10:01:07 PM »I think the reason he asked us to not eat blood was because it's unhealthy (if not dangerous in some cases, like raw meat). He also said don't eat pigs, which we can obviously do now. Back then, pigs were dangerous to eat because food preperation was not as advanced then, and there are these cyst things that sometimes naturally occur in pigs that can be lethal to humans if ingested.
Thinking the exact same thing man. Pretty sure God wouldn't want to let humans just screw themselves over when they're just getting started.
Also, I'm sure there's some sacredness involved, what with blood representing life and whatnot.

Good stuff. I'm no vegetarian, but I'm pretty sure we have "canine" teeth for ripping into tougher types of vegetables and fruits.
I don't feel guilty for eating animals. They're lower on the food chain. This is exactly why God put animals on the earth, to feed us.
Well, that's not why he put them here, but he did say it was okay, as long as we drained a majority of the blood.
