How I view it is that it's my server so if someone comes into my server and starts bugging me right away I don't see why I want them to continue to be in my server, so I gave them a three day ban. Chances are that they won't try to join my server even if I host within the next three days, and I'm teaching them not to join a server and just start shooting people.No.
The team deathmatch message is desplayed no matter if it is running or not. Then latter another person came and just started shooting at me wile I was building.
I fail to see how this makes it not your fault. If you run ice cream mods, don't blame other people when they're confused. Furthermore, it's not like a few bullets hitting you is going to ruin your day. Either disable the team deathmatch add-on or be prepared to explain it to people.
I am generally more forgiving on other servers but when I want to just build and have my server up so others can join and comment on it if they want and they just annoy me, I see no reason to keep them on my server.

And wile blockland isn't just building, it's annoying that you have to say it's a building server all over the place...

I was working on my BAN app when someone joined and spawned and got the team death match message. He then got really happy and I told him I wasn't running a minigame. After a small amount of time he left.
Latter someone else joined and just started shooting me. I replied with a humble 3 day ban.
Why are servers expected to be deathmatches or some form of minigame? This is a building game...

I never knew that....I thought Ephi was their web guy...
Just a thought because it kinda works here: I remember once in RTB 1.x there was a challange were at one part you had to answer questions in order to open passed doors. One was who created RTB. After many failed attemps to put in red-eye with various capitalisations, I asked how I was supost to enter it. He then replied that everyone before me had easily answered the question with mochese.

Two things:
1. Go back to defalt color pack, it is better for a server with people loading things.
2. Get the random clock colorer. The most useless but oddly cool add-on ever...
