Modification Help / Re: New Age
« on: February 26, 2009, 03:43:52 PM »
Have you not seen the RTB website?  There is a new version of RTB coming out as soon as v11 does, with both a new gui feature for hosters, and also a few updates for working with v11.  After that he is already working on rolling out a redone mod manager, that works much better, and also uses an upgrade to phpBB3 forum software.  After that there will be work on a RTB buddy system, that works somewhat like an instant messenger to replace the hard to control IRC.

Not to mention that he is also working a little bit on the side making ERPG.  You may be thinking that not allot has been worked on it, but I know a few of people who are friends with Ephi and have seen (or helped with) it so far, and they confirm that there are a good amount of features, and it is a very nice RPG.

then when she says no ask her best friend out
No no no. John Nash says that you need to ask her friend out.  If you go for the good one, and she turns you down, then go to her friend, she'll see it as her being the second choice, so simply go for the realistic one.

Or he could be bluffing, and just wanted the Blond.

v8
space guy did it
also says its impossible with the new way blockland works
but im not so sure
With how the engine works, you only can move the camera up and down, and left to right (though it doesn't look at the player, but instead keeps looking forward.)  Spaceguy's mod constantly set the player's camera to the side of the player.  The problem with this is that it could lag a server, and for the player it was very jumpy, not allowing any real fun to be had with it.  So it hasn't been ported, not because it isn't possible, but because it worked like crap.

Sorry, but I can't resist:

ha ha rabbits.

I agree with you, it is so stupid how some people are so protective of their info.  I guess the only place I would disagree is medical history, since there are some people who have a history that they may not want others to know.  (such as getting a STI, or possibility constipation)

As a teacher I had in 7th grade said: "Seventh grade is the only year when two people will come to school dating, break up before lunch, and get back together by the end of the day.  Without talking to each other once."

A pick-up line I like:
You: Did it hurt?
Them: Did it hurt when?
You: When you fell from Heaven.
Them: Aww, your so sweet.
You: No, really did it hurt?
Them: Umm...yes?
You: That would explain your face...

If you want to pass it through php, it's not that hard, though you'd also have to have a web server running.

The RTB wiki has info on how to pass information with get to webpages, and just google "php mysql" to get information on how to connect to servers.

Wrong, you need code to make the brick datablock.  The .blb file alone does nothing.

Nice, only that some of the text on the page and in the pictures are repetitive, and I think the vehicles could use a better pic.

I think that he's going to do this a bunch of times, and once everyone figures out it doesn't actually update, he'll do it for real.

Clan Discussion / Re: Blockland Alliance Navy [BAN]
« on: February 19, 2009, 05:58:40 PM »
By the way guys, we have some plans, so here is a sneak peak:
It is unfortunate to say that now is the time to bring BAN to a close. I know that we've been on and off before, but I'm afraid that this time it's permanent. The community does not have much call for a space clan, plus building space-themed things wears thin way too quickly. It appears that non-themed clans usually are more successful.

So whatever happens after this point, nothing else will have to do with BAN. Me and the other higher members have discussed this, and as of this post, BAN will have been officially dissolved. We had a good run while it lasted, and the most important thing to remember is that we had fun while the clan was running.

Thank you all for your interest in this, and I hope you find a new clan to become a part of.
