Drama / That fox girl

I can't take the pressure!

KILL MY CLONES PLOX

107
So many handicapped server hosts around on the forums, and ingame, beg and beg for eval.
I explain to them that they DO NOT NEED it.
They say things like "But I need to do this and this!"
And I'm tired of explaining to them that the console does the exact same thing.

Want to know what Eval does for you?
It's like letting NON HOSTS access YOUR console!
How about that? Admins can feel free to delete your entire saves folder and crash the server!
We know how often these handicapped server hosts give out admin.

Yes that's right, talking about YOU!
You're going to beg for Eval because you're stupid enough to not know what console does.
You're going to let 80% of the dumbstuffs who join your server be admin, as long as your other handicapped admins don't get angry and ban them first.
One of these people you end up letting be admin really wish to terrorize you, and have taken notice that you have eval.
You may have to re-install after that.

Modification Help / Necromancy Skills - RTB3 now promotes necromancy
« on: July 25, 2009, 05:13:31 PM »
With the handy dandy GUI downloader, the users of RTB can now be necromancers.
There are many things these necromancers can do.

Explode their own body upon dying is the first thing on this list. There is more to come.

(This is mostly to test the limits of the GUI Downloader)

Clarifications:
-This isn't only going to be based around a GUI.
-There's going to be more than exploding your own dead body.

However I cannot go into detail without knowing what I'm going to do myself.

Ideas:
Exploding your own body if you're dead.
Exploding other nearby bodies.
Bringing dead players back as AI zombies.
Spawning ancient skeletons from generally anywhere, though they are very fragile and much weaker than zombies.
Your ideas.

Do it.

Ah, a normal day of checking my e-mail.
The computer I'm currently at has a small resolution. So I cannot see the full subject when looking through the list.

[Nexon Notice] Unused Nexon ...
So I click on it to see that the subject read: [Nexon Notice] Unused Nexon Cash Expiration‏

What the forget is this stuff? Money can loving expire?
God dammit not even other forgetstupid companies didn't try to pull this stuff off.

Quote from: Nexon
Hello Nexonites, this is Nexon America.

We thank you for your continued support of our games.

This is to notify you that your unused Nexon Cash on your Nexon Passport may be subject to expire.
After reviewing your account, Nexon America has learned that your Nexon Cash balance on your Nexon Passport  chrono423  has remained unchanged for over a year. You can avoid the expiration by either charging your account or purchasing an item in the game using Nexon Cash, but if no new transaction of Nexon Cash occurs by  July 31st of 2009, your remaining  2,420  Nexon Cash on your  chrono423  account will expire.

Thank you.

Anyone want a gift or something? I don't play any Nexon games anymore.

Drama / Fix the Community
« on: July 09, 2009, 01:38:31 PM »
Do it. Please. Anyone with control.
We have stuffheads spamming ingame.
handicaps loving the forums up.

We need control. Badspot is just letting these rejects prance around destroying stuff.
Instead of removing features, remove the problems.

Drama / Modify Gone - With that and no locking. You're forgeted.
« on: June 27, 2009, 07:45:43 PM »
Lots of people remember when we were no longer able to lock our drama topics.
Some of us felt a sense of power over people that they could no longer shout and get the last word.
But then they started clearing their posts with edit, making it seem like it no longer happened.

Suddenly. Mr. Badspot seemed to have removed the modify button. :D
If you make drama, make it good or you're screwed and your only chance to survive is water.

Drama / Badspot - And the lies people tell others.
« on: June 23, 2009, 11:36:48 PM »
So you're having fun somewhere in some server.
Suddenly someone does something to make you dislike them.
They tell you something about being related/close/across the street from Badspot and that you will be banned from Blockland.
You decide to start a topic about it in order to humiliate this person.

Well guess what, this topic is against you.
Stop posting them. They aren't funny. Everyone knows about it, or will anyways. Anyone who isn't braindead will deal with these people anyways.

tl;dr stop posting topics like "Namehere something about Badspot".

Commonly (twice) on these forums, users with unoriginal names complain about name stealing.

If your name is something like Block man, General Jack, or something named after a band or game/anime/movie character... chances are someone else wants that unoriginal name.

Come up with something better, and then perhaps you have that little (almost no) right to complain.

Looking to make your Blockland experience better, loveier, and super awesome?
Well, here are some tips from the community of Blockland itself!
(This topic was made due to Azimuth being banned.)

1. Replace screenshots with research. - Azimuth
2. Change the original font (Modifying default word images) - Godik7

4. Make your avatar naked. - yuki

Feel free to submit your ideas.

Games / Grand Chase - Online action RPG & 'Bring Your Friends' event.
« on: June 05, 2009, 06:54:25 PM »

    • First Real Time Online Fighting Game
Grand Chase is the world’s first real time online fighting game that enables up to 6 players 4 players in dungeons and 6 players in PvP to engage in thrilling fights with each other.

    • Arcade Style Controls
Grand Chase offers simple, arcade-style control patterns that players can easily use to combine skills and perform combo attacks; meeting the expectations of fighting game enthusiasts who rely on accuracy and timing.
The rest of the information on that page is useless.

Well. I was hoping for better information from that page... Guess I'll explain some myself.

An action game where you can use 7 (8 on wednesday. You also only start with 3) different characters which advance to different jobs. Looking for videos and pics? Well you should know where to find those.

Why I'm posting about this game?
Well, the answer is simple. It's enjoyable and I want some stuff.
Yes. This post is mostly about getting stuff.
There is an event currently going on called 'Bring Your Friends!'.
If you download this fun game, sign up, log in, stick in my name in some referal box, and play for 70 minutes; we both get some cool stuff. (See event page for details.)

    Website: http://grandchase.ntreev.net
    My user: xchronox0
Server: It doesn't matter. They're both the same and account information is shared between both servers.
    Why?: Fun and free stuff.

Oh, and now for the bribery.
If I get like, 12 referals before next Friday, I'll make some awesome add-ons and fix my old ones.

Screw this stuff I quit this game.

Off Topic / Xbox Live Parties - There goes the team chat.
    « on: May 29, 2009, 11:47:15 AM »
Well, Xbox Live got this new party system like months ago.
You can invite your friends and have private discussions and such, and invite the entire party to one game.

But I didn't realize something till now.

Ever since these parties came out, it seems people don't talk to their team anymore. They just stick to their 3-4 person party andeaving it on party chat. Games become less interesting if you're just running around playing the game, adapting to other's actions. I like to strategize with a team. Telling each other plans and how to beat the other team. But now it seems like I'm just talking to the wall. Everyone is in their own private groups of people possibly playing other games.

Well, I was just sitting here, listening to the Air Raid Siren signal we were getting from the radio. Suddenly it turned into jello and I fell back. As much as I flailed my hands around, I could not free myself from the jello confines. I yelled "Help!", and Miga just walked away. (And was hit by a bolt of electricity and died.)

There are many things in Blockland that you may not know. Simply because no one was there to tell you, and it doesn't jump out at you like a red undulo brick; infact almost secret (sometimes).
Let's start with things natural to Blockland. (Perhaps modless.) Then we will get into the downloaded content and how it works.

    Server Loading
    Load time.
It is often asked by others, and perhaps you; "How long is the load?"
This cannot actually be answered for several reasons.
    • Your connection may be slower or faster than others.
    • You may already have some of the files from other servers, thus no redownloading required.
    • Loading objects may take longer on your computer.
    • You may have not lighted the map yet.
    • You may have sounds and/or music downloads turned off, while others may have it on. Or vice versa.
I beleive that's all I have to say about loading for now.

The console, glitches, and you (fixing them)
    Server crashes after loading objects.
It may be some prints you have enabled, could be some broken add-ons, too many add-ons, or the map you are trying to play.
I keep shooting/jetting/jumping/crouching when I'm not pressing anything.
This is where the console comes in great use.
Press the ~ button to open up a command-line entry window, also known as the console.
Typing commands exactly as follows to fix these problems:
    Shooting:  mouseFire(0);
    Jetting:  jet(0);
    Jumping:  jump(0);
    Crouching:  crouch(0);
There is also an add-on called the Glitch Fixer. It can help you remove these problems.
Weird boxes and squares are glitching all over the screen.
I find this usually occurs when breaking several bricks (with wand). Others often happen to them due to physics. If your computer isn't crappy like mine, you can type  flushTextureCache();  to fix this issue.
(The reason I cannot use this is because it freezes the game till the server thinks I lost connection.)
My spawns and bricks aren't working in my minigame.
This is a LAN bug. When someone with the same ID joins the server, the brick ownership transfers over to them, thus the bricks are not in the minigame. To fix this, have them join the minigame, and turn on "Include all player's bricks." or rejoin so you gain ownership of the bricks. I've reported this bug already.

    Administration
    What admin means.
Yes, I understand. You can run your server however you wish, but I think people look at the word admin the wrong way.
Like fire, it's not a toy. Yes, it's pretty, and powerful, but is still not a toy.
An administrator is meant to enforce the server rules.
Those special actions only available to admins are to help them control the server.
The destructo wand pushes players because they may be in your way of clearing bricks.
Camera and player control (f8/f7) is a great way to get around quickly and make sure things are going the way they should be.
Fetching and finding players are just useful commands, that can be abused thus are given to someone who can handle power. Imagine joining a TDM and being able to throw all the enemy team into a pit of death?
Spying is to keep eye on specific players, to make sure they aren't doing anything wrong.
    Kicks and bans are obvious.

    Filters
    Civilized vocabulary.
When you see that warning after typing a message, it just means the server has E-Tard Filter enabled.
This is often used to prevent people from using stupid irritating words, such as "dat", "u", and so on.
    **** gets blocked out.
There is no need to put spaces in your words to avoid a curse filter. There are client sided options for turning this off.
Open options, goto advanced, and scroll down till you see the option for turning this off.

    Controls New.
    The camera object. (F8) New.
While in the camera, you may hold your fire key (default left click) to move at double speed.
The default controls and stuff. New.
You can set the default emotes and sitting to keys if you enter the options menu.
By default, opening the brick bar at the bottom of the screen, you press 1. But 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 9 and 0 are to quickly switch to specific slots. If you bind 1 to use slot 1, you can still use it to open the brick bar. I find this much more efficient.

    Downloadable content
    From joining servers.
When you join a server, and download some add-on content from it; you aren't getting the needed script files to run these on your own. These are just the necessary files to be able to use them in that server, and other servers running identical content.
You are also able to disable sound and music downloads in Options.
    Decals and faces. (Client-sided)
If you are using custom faces or chest decals, only those who also have that same file downloaded will be able to see it. Otherwise they see the regular happy face and/or a blank decal.
    Prints and bricks. (Server-sided)
Bricks and prints are not downloaded when joining a server.
Prints will show up as a single top stud, stretched to fit.
Special bricks (ex, Corner bricks, inverted corner ramps, one way window) will just appear as a 6 sided normal brick that matches the size of the custom brick, unless the client had downloaded it separate.
Bricks that are too large (anything bigger than 64) will also just appear as a 64 (Length, width and height) no matter if the client has it downloaded or not. Use of anything bigger than 64 studs/brick height is not recommended.

That's all I have to say for now.

    Well let me begin.
