Good News Everypony

I decided i was being handicapped again so i jumped back to the base pony file and did this the right way.

I made customizable pony rigs. The eyes, tail, mane, horn, and wings are all detached so they can be easily edited.

I will most likely do 3d pony commissions.

Also, they're not perfect but they're damn close to being done in my standards.


Basic Pony, has basic mane and tail as well as eyes.


Basic Unicorn, Has basic mane, tail, and eyes. Includes a horn which is easy to edit.


Basic Pegasus, Has basic mane, tail, and eyes. Includes wings that are easily edited.


Quick little pony i scrapped up. It works a lot better without symmetry but it renders more polygons.

So, what do you guys think? I worked on these all afternoon and i'm quite pleased.

Another update, she has eyes.

And now she has normal eyes.


Buffering the pony to try out some colors. Wish me luck.

blender allows you to upload pictures on various sides

Well i'm using sculptris. :I

Also, i really haven't thought of colors for this pony.

try using picture references (front, back, side) that you can stick in the program for guidelines
helps you practice

Wait, you can stick guidelines in this thing? I've just been looking at various artists and hoping it turns out good.

Little random fun-fact - the pony i made has 500762 triangles and counting. This makes it a pain in the ass if i say, forget to put wings on it while loading it into the paint mode.

i find it easier to draw with a mechanical pencil.

What're you using the model for?

Just for artistic purposes. It can be exported as an .obj file and tweaked elsewhere if anyone wants it.

hair needs to be longer/bigger
wings
and dull

I got that done actually, and wings sound like fun.
