Then there should be 2 lasers, one from the remote targeter, and another for the projectile launcher. The thing firing the objects needs to make sure that the angle it's aiming at ends up at the desired target, this accounts for slopes of hills and whatnot~

In Halo Reach, the Target Locator will fire 7 missiles in a designated area, mainly staying in the range of a 18-20 foot circle. All 7 missiles come down in a straight line, so I decided to make two shots coming from two aircrafts. My missiles were not trying to be realistic, as I was only trying to make an explosion test.

Why do the actual projectiles come from a far different angle from the targeting laser?
Shouldn't the targeting laser be really close to the origin of the projectiles?

Because in Halo: Reach, the shots are fired from an aircraft above. The aircraft recieves the signal and fires down on it.

also i think you're just being a stuck-up stuff, people are allowed to celebrate their birthdays, as it's a special time in their lives. plus, they're not rubbing it down your throat, are they? to read the context of the thread, you have to take interest in it. which many people do.

Birthday topics will push other more valid topics down the list, and it's kinda bullstuff.

I don't see how a single valid thread moving down the list by a single topic is so bad? I mean, we only get birthday threads every few... what, 2 months?

It's because he seems to think it's a form of spam and should be against the rules and thinks it's hard to ignore a topic. I ignore all kinds of threads all the time, I don't see how he can't just ignore these threads.
