3D planetary engine for seamless planet rendering from space down to the surface. Can use arbitrary resolution of elevation data, refining it to centimeter resolution using fractal algorithms. And it's pretty cool. Apparently, it will eventually be a game, but at the moment it is an engine-in-progress. However, it is still playable (and moddable). In it's alpha stage, it's not too pricey - ~$15 - but will increase in price as it is developed/becomes a full game. Progress is kinda slow unfortunately, mostly due to the fact that the devs keep getting contacted by government agencies and large corporations for early use of the engine. Despite it being developed for quite a few years now, it still is under active development.
