Lookin' good with the bird shots! May I suggest you use the Rule of Thirds when taking shots like that? Also, meter off of the bird so it is a tad more visible.

Same, I've pretty much always just dealt with it myself, when I was really sick my mom would maybe bring dinner to me because I can't get out of bed but that's about it.
What else is there to do anyway?
Well, I do things like drink lots of water, abstain from milk, eat a clove of garlic, intake a bunch of vitamin C, drink some tea, etc.

I already have a strong immune system, so with these extra measures, it's usually it's all gone in a couple to a few days.

Sheesh, harsh. When I get sick, I basically just take care of it all myself; my mom might make me tea or something, but that's about it.

I know what you meant but an undergraduate engineering degree is a bachelor's degree.
Whoops, my bad.

Your average robber steals because they are dirt poor and have absolutely nothing as they try sucking richard for money while you flash your fancy appliances and wonder why you get robbed.

University workloads are going to be more than highschool, definately.

I am taking 18 credits as an engineering student in my 2nd year and it takes up most of my time.

You get to a certain point where attending lectures and taking notes is not enough time to learn all the material, and you have to commit much more time outside of class.
But bear in mind you're studying for an engineering degree. Someone going for a bachelor's degree won't have nearly as much of a payload. I know this because I've got two close friends doing engineering in college at the moment.

It would help to tell him how to tile them.
Except I know nothing about his skybox. I can't be of too much help with that little info.

Off Topic / Re: Nokia Lumia 520/521 - Hardware Questions!
« on: January 30, 2014, 12:17:36 AM »
Are you just using it for texting/calling or are you expecting to use apps because windows phones are not good for that
I may possibly at some point use it as an actual phone, yes. I would be getting it mainly for the camera (and possibly phone features). My brother doesn't use his iPod for much except music and web stuff - he'd probably be ok with the limited games. But really, this isn't about the OS - we know (for the most part) of Windows 8 phone's ups and downs in terms of the OS.

Off Topic / Nokia Lumia 520/521 - Hardware Questions!
« on: January 29, 2014, 11:55:57 PM »
Ok, so my brother and I were looking at Windows phones earlier, and it turns out that you can get the Nokia Lumia 520 on the Windows Store for $59.99 and the 521 for $69.99 for a limited time (not contract required). So, I have a couple questions before I spend half my money on one.

First off, how does it compare to, say, an iPod 5th generation (which is what I'm currently using)? According the the specs sheet, it should actually outperform the iPod (1 GHz on Nokia vs. 800 MHz on iPod, both with 512mb ram, Nokia with a front facing camera, which I don't have on my iPod). This question is mainly for my brother, because he is looking to replace his 4th gen iPod (old and slow, behind in software, etc.).

Secondly, does anyone have any (good) photos they've taken with one of these two phones? I'd like to do some comparisons. I'm actually looking to use this mainly for its camera feature(s), so I'm doing a little research first. And please, don't tell me, "Just buy an actual camera for around the same price." I don't think I can edit the photos extensively or upload photos anywhere on the web with a $70 point 'n shoot.

Also, please don't derail this. This isn't meant to be a discussion of Android vs Windows 8 vs iOS, or Apple vs PC, or any of that mumbo-jumbo. Additionly, don't misinform me, please (don't talk about it like you know what you're talking about if you don't - preferably, people who have had hands-on experience would be best suited to give me some answers).

Now, as I await replies, I shall go do some more research on this phone.

even then if you have protection against that and require anti-stick monitors(is this even possible?) I could just wear glasses with a sticker on them
Good luck keeping your head perfectly still.
