Cool!

For that style of picture you want to make, here's an overview of what you could do:

- Create the shape(s) you want to use.
- Create background plane.
- Move camera into desired position.
- Move shape out of camera view.
- Make the plane a particle emitter.
- Select the shape(s) as the particles.
- Set up density, size, and rotation randomness of the particles.
- Set up lighting, materials, and depth of field.
- Set the timeline to some position other than 0 to have particles emit
- Render!

Sorry that I can't go into more detail, but I have things to do. I think you should be able to find tutorials for any individual things I mentioned, though.

Also, to make that shape, simply create a cube, go into edit mode, go into face selection mode, hit "a" to select all the faces, subdivide it once, then select the four top corners of the cube, and hit alt+m (select center in the pop-up). Repeat the alt+m merge for the bottom.

I disagree. People may have heard of them or know 1 or 2 songs by them, but their music is up there with any band. In my opinion, they were one of the greatest progressive rock bands of all time.

It's kinda more of a touchy-feely thing. No joke, people just spontaneously touch my hair/rub my head, saying things like, "I wish I had your hair" or, "Your hair is so awesome!" However, I do have this picture of my hair when it's not short (although this still isn't its longest; I've had 6 inch 'fros before). Note that this is a picture taken months ago, I have short hair at the moment.



People have actually thrown pencils at my hair just to watch them bounce off.

You use 'i.e.' incorrectly. You should have used 'e.g.'

Also, ending sentences with prepositions is perfectly acceptable.

Well, that's my fault for only learning i.e. and e.g. from context. 

It is acceptable in some cases, but not all. That's why I said "properly". (I actually meant to delete the second example sentence, as it is proper. Whoops...)
