it dosnt matter if you are earning or not. it matters that you are using content that others still are earning from at all.
the rules are all bullstuff, but you all agreed to it from the get go.

Sorry, I just didn't understand it the first read-through. Still, a user should be able to use someone else's music in their video, provided they properly attribute it (unless that person put copyright restraints on that kinda thing). Not everyone can make their own music. Yes, there is the problem of the site making money even if the users aren't; this is something Google should really fix. Telling people to simply stop using YouTube is impractical, though; it simply won't happen.
