Exactly. a single paraody or reference every now and then is alright.I'm thinking you don't realize just how many references go into basically every episode. It's one of the reasons why the older generation likes the show.

A DnB song i've been working onIt's nice! It's ok if the melody is a bit repetitive in much of DnB, because you can make up for it with effects and complex drum patterns. After listening to hundreds upon hundreds of DnB songs, I came to this general conclusion: what works best is usually a) a complex beat with lots of breaks, mixed in with samples and chopped (or sometimes un-chopped) vocals with a simple melody (sometimes almost non-existant) and a nice leading bass OR b) a really nice melody with a lot fewer effects and generally a simplified beat and bass pattern.
tell me if the melody is to repetitive or something to make it better

It is, everyone forgot that guys saying its manly was a joke to begin with.Hey, colors don't have an opinion on the matter - they don't care who uses them or likes them. It's us who decided that women and men needed segregation when it comes to colors. Now, I'm not saying a boy should have a bright pink room, but IMO it doesn't look good as a girl's room either; pink is just too bright to fill an entire room with it. If you're going to categorize colors, do it in ways that make sense (like most colors already are).
