Help / Re: Decals missing after Steam transfer.

If you're using steam, do the usual rightclick>properties>local files>verify cache integrity

If you're using the launcher, delete your cache.db file.
Ok, I'll try that. I hope the first one works, though; I really don't want to delete my cache.db, it's 4GB and I'd have to redownload so much stuff with it gone. ;-;

You can change the gravity direction and rotate your camera. Boom, X goes up now!
...And the worldspace remains the same.

Just so that everyone's clear: it's X and Y horizontal, Z up in real life, (most) video games (most) 3D modeling programs. Y is up in terms of camera work (programs like Adobe After Effects). HOWEVER, in certain math (often physics related things), Y is considered up, always when dealing with two-dimensional problems, and I'm pretty sure Y remains up in three-dimensional physics problems as well.

Other programs and things use them interchangeably; there is no set right and wrong for the third dimension.

why would you even post if you never had any experience with this issue
Um, people do that all the time? I'm offering you a possibility as to why it might not be working, as well as a general idea of how to fix it. It's like if you needed to know where to go to get your brakes fixed - would simply not trust someone or refuse their help because they haven't had a brake failure themselves? No; it's possible to have knowledge of something without experience; experience just solidifies the knowledge and adds on to it.

reinstall
That's not gonna help, I'll just have to migrate my folder again and the issue will duplicate itself.

Help / Decals missing after Steam transfer.
« on: January 10, 2014, 10:28:27 AM »
So, yeah, basically what the title says. No decals show up at all (not even in the avatar editor). I literally copied my Add-Ons, config, saves, and screenshots folders to the new directory. In addition to this, it says my colorSet.txt is invalid when trying to start a server. I am on a Mac, of that changes anything.

I'm not sure. I get how this stuff is done, but I've never actually done it myself. It would be nice if someone with experience would help out.

The NSX is pretty close there too (it's what I voted for).

I like it. Any way for you to make the background and foreground blend better? Or is it supposed to look separated?

i was actually under the impression that people would be talking almost entirely about game mechanics and nobody would ever actually put forth any effort to actually do anything

blockland's community is surprisingly productive and gung-ho about things that aren't actually blockland
That's because we're awesome, duh:cookieMonster:

Wow, you guys are lucky. I use the Guest Room's closet room to store my LEGO fortress. It was a beautiful build, until the Godzilla destroyed it.

The Godzilla was my little brother.
ROF-

I mean, I'm sorry for your loss.

His hairline does seem to be oddly receeded, however that is a bit of a nitpick
Nah, his hair just starts really far back. It's one of those weird hairstyles where he has a lot of hair, but it's "late" coming in.

« on: January 10, 2014, 10:09:47 AM »
yep, you don't know what youre talking about

ugh filipe is going to make it soo boxy and small its not gonna be cool.

Well, I just looked around, and it seems that there is disagreement elsewhere as to whether or not those cars are muscle cars or sports cars. So let's just leave it at that.

Anyway, I might do the GT sometime in the future, but not the whole pack.

I'm talking about how the times I've seen vehicles used, they are just for decoration or spawned by noobs on red vehicle spawns to amuse themselves for a few mins.

I've to this day not seen a demolition derby server or anything that uses vehicles as more than decor.
You must no get around much, then.
