Hehe... Ableton... Mac users love it, but it's so expensive! Gah, it's not like I have anywhere near enough to buy a professional, well rounded DAW right now anyway, though.

I think I have gotten better at being less repetitive and more original with my effects/melodies, but I still have trouble getting my synths where I want them. I'm thinking this is partially audiotool's limitations, but also me too. Any tips on getting nice sounding synths?

Accessories, programs etc. Where did you guys learn, I'm wanting to learn how to make music and start producing because it seems really fun.It is fun, and I'm still learning as well, but if you want to get your feet wet without spending any money or downloading anything (just to see if you like it/get started), I'd suggest http://audiotool.com. It's pretty awesome for an online tool, although I myself am looking to upgrade now. BTW, is FL Studio available for Mac?
