Off Topic / what phone should blouk get/not get

soooo good news is blouk is (finally) going to get a phone! it'll be under mom's plan for now but yay!

what i need to decide though is what phone to get
and i know like, nothing about phones and what is good/bad

basically the only requirement is it has to be either verizon or unlocked because my mom's plan is verizon

i don't give af about prices really

i had to reinstall chrome today because of some gay thing about how i was "blocked" or something and it kept popping up on occasion

then i go to youtube and watch a music video and i see animated thumbnails when it ends

like this (went to a random video since i closed the other one out)


is anyone else getting this/is this old news/how can i turn it off this is weird


also ezgif is gay

i got myself a new bike a couple days ago and it works wonders compared to my old one
i got a recommendation from my friend that the sirrus was a p good bike so i took the suggestion and got a sirrus sport

i don't know what it is but i don't feel like doing any of the things i need or even want to do today

i don't feel like building my spaceship in bl
i don't feel like drawing stuff that people gave money for me to do, or my own personal art
i don't feel like going to the store to get stuff that i want
i feel tired even though i slept 11 hours last night

any tips?

Off Topic / Which Cintiq should i get?

ok so i'm wondering which cintiq i should nab once i get around 25k once i turn 18

what i want is definitely a stand-alone tablet. unlike other cintiqs that need to be connected to a computer, the companion series can work ALL by themselves. they have their own storage, ram, OS, all of that. i was wondering how much ram and storage i should get with the i7 model

one choice is the 8gb ram, and 256gb solid state. i have a 250gb solid state right now in my laptop and it's more than enough for now, but the ram is what concerns me more
the other choice is the 16gb ram, and 512gb solid state. i have 16gb of ram on my laptop now and it's perfect for me, if not even more than what i need

should i settle with the 8gb one and pay $500 less? or should i nab a 16gb one and pay $2500? i'm not sure, so that's why i'm asking you guys

Off Topic / The art building in my school was vandalized

this was pretty upsetting news to me when i heard about it

so what happened was that we had our usual weekend, and then there are a few dudes that come in and forget stuff up

gallons of paint were splattered all over the room that i'm in third hour, including onto people's art projects too. they broke into the ceramic room and destroyed a great amount of projects in there too. there was the other art room that i haven't really heard about but i bet that one's bad too. and on top of that they broke into the media center and stole a few thousand's worth of cameras
thankfully most of the art in my teacher's room was in the back room and wasn't touched

it was like, a legit crime scene. police were there fingerprinting and stuff for the first two hours of school

as far as the staff know it was four dudes, but they weren't able to see the faces clearly in the video cameras

it's really upsetting to me since i'm an artist myself and know i wouldn't ever want my work destroyed, along with how little art programs in schools are generally underfunded, this
loving pisses me off to think that someone would do this

any thoughts?

yep i am super blind
i can't see the details of the ok hand emoji  i'm still able to read internet text if i squint
my glasses got broken today, they were stepped on while i was taking a nap (and i don't know how they got on the floor)

we're going to get stuff done at the eye place when they open on monday because i guess i'm getting a whole new prescription but until then stuff will be kind of difficult
