Updates began installing as soon as I restarted my machine.

did you check for optional updates? i had to install them to get the little windows button

I got back from my holiday today and tried to download Windows 10, and all I get is this:

Every other PC in my house is now running Windows 10 and I can't download my copy.

have you done windows updates on that computer? i couldn't do anything for a bit because certain updates weren't installed
