Doesn't the Ion Cannon overwrite default stuff?
if you looked through the ion cannon in the topic it shouldnt overwrite anything
the 1st version released back in 2007 had 1 overwrite which only overwrote the default guns bullethit sound and that was it

the 2nd version released or distributed by someone named tyler[numberhere] in 2009 had the bullethit sound fixed and the death ion cannon had unfortunately gotten it ( possibly tyler forgotten to fix that? )

after 2010 im not too sure if the ion cannon had any more revisions throughout its life
but, this ion cannon nicepoint linked should have no overwrites... why not try downloading it? it wont destroy

didnt want this makeshift "2-seater" speedkart experimental vehicles to go to waste, have this if you want a what you call double dash or whatever

in this speedkart pack... there are unfortunately some changes to make it less-PAINFUL FOR ME TO TURN 90 DEGREES WITHOUT UNDERSTEERING INTO A WALL, there are also no sounds because they are extremely annoying and sound like turbocharged lawn mowers

no "super"karts because they lose control when you attempt "tight" turns ( that includes it being too low to the ground that it causes massive headaches when small 1x1fs happen to be in the way and you clip into it )

te ammo preference 1 aka T+T1 style never worked since it was never implemented in, to end that forever reload... you mind telling me what kind of T+T youve got there? i dont ever usually see a T+T2 gun constantly replaying reload states constantly over a ammo glitch ( unless you still got reserves )

in that case, you might have to go into the code of the pepperbox and attempt to find the line that shows ::onReloaded
should look something like this

and the imagename MIGHT be Peppergun/peppergunImage, thats just bushido not having enough time to CTRL + F everything and rename the image name that matches the uiName... so all you do is just get into the pepperbox's code and see if this matches with yours

if it doesnt, copy this one in to your pepperbox, then well see the results

They are cheap junk that break down within 2 years. I've had multiple acer laptops and my friends have had the same problems with theirs.
usually most are but some are tough as business-class laptops, i have an Acer Aspire One D150-1Bb that can match the durability of a 1999 IBM ThinkPad 600X... not to mention that laptop had even survived from its manufacturing date in 2009 all the way to present ( which is now) and thats IMPRESSIVE for an acer laptop

for that kind of budget id say you can try getting a used Lenovo ThinkPad T520..?
shouldnt disappoint you on the specifications, but dont go for a chromebook

for their price i could get a used 14.1 inch business laptop with FAR more capabilities then what a chromebook could do: eg. a Penryn Core 2 Duo vs a low-end Haswell Celeron or a Diamondville/Pineview Atom

I think this happens if you run out of VRAM
should be mostly this, do not look at too many bricks because usually this happens when you render TONS of modter bricks or normal bricks (brickcount is around 200k+)

temporary solution: drop your render distance to the lowest or atleast 50-220 will do, just dont look at many bricks.. it still happens because you already ghosted it
best solution: upgrade your graphics card or just swap in a different motherboard if its a laptop/or solder in a different gpu if your good at that

it is possible but whoever does not have the addon's files and sounds except the script, they will disconnect because of a missing shape or sound

i wouldnt do this since it makes literally everyone quit except people who has the addon

this is to discover the file you manually placed in, but if it was there when you started up blockland... you do not need to do this

this is to execute the addons code and to set the others to run along, but if it is a script or a client whatever you have to do client.cs

to properly transfer or load the datablocks in if i remember
without this probably some of the addons functions would not work properly

but i warn you, you need to make sure people in your server has to have the addon in their folder otherwise it the people in your server will disconnect after the transmit

wh40k pack did have ammo waaaay back in april 2012 or 2013? ( i cnat rembr ) when it was first released

but tingalz removed the ammo system for some unknown reasons, you could pm tingalz for it though i have the pack with ammo

might be the cpu heating up too much... 79C+?
try downgrading your gpus driver to a previously stable one that shouldve worked out well for you
if your laptop is not fanless ( goddamn loving ultrabooks ) clean the fan blades with compressed air or tissue by wiping the fan blades if it is dusty, includes the air vents

if all of the previous statements do not work, it might be your OS
good lord my intel extreme graphics 1 32mb didnt even fail me a single time counting heatups and driver issues

there was one addon from not too long ago that allowed you to change the player's name colour and global chat colour ( munks? ) and it was outside of a minigame + no slayer mind you

you should disable that if you do have it, should fix it

WeaponImage serves as a base for every weapon made, i think
if you overwrite that base every weapon using that base will malfunction

Also I think it can happen for if someone dies that they go into spectator mode. While this happens, if they fly in front of you directly, you can see their name. Sorry for double post ;)
this old glitch appeared ever since v21 was released at some point of time in 10th of august 2012

i dont know how to replicate this glitch but ive seen it in action, its completely harmless but you gain the ability to see the spectator's name tag on their 'head'... so all you get is to know the spectators name and thats it, no gain other than knowing him/her looking around

completely not hacking its just an old glitch ( cant confirm if it had existed in v20 and back but im sure it didnt ), so if your quite paranoid if this might destroy or cause any problems calm down its not going to

conclusion: drydess just encountered a glitch and you kind of overreacted

there seems to be one of your vehicle addons that has a corrupted(?) texture or its your friend's pc that cant read the changes being sent to his computer, so it gives an invalid packet

never had this before but i got the related invalid packet on the skybox sudden switch, so it clearly states that the highest possibility of the problem is related to your friend's computer

uhh why would you want to uncheck read only?
after all blockland reads the addons and possibly places it in some temporary storage for the code/script and textures + models shouldnt be read n write but just read, because once you change anything related to textures or models | blockland wouldnt be able to find the changes properly unless you have already spawned the item/weapon/vehicle/static shape so that itll load its necessarities and ignore the folder contents packaged for it

and for handling script/code edits, it handles through blockland's already executed script/code so its technically read and write... through i doubt bl allows the datablock's shapefile to be swapped in mid-game
